Today, 10/20/2020 the Nigerian government sent the military to kill unarmed innocent civilians, a bloody massacre.

Every single drop of innocent Nigerian blood spilled will judge Buhari, Sanwo-Olu and Tinubu. They will never know peace. The blood of the innocent will curse them. They will suffer severely before they die.

The government has turned off the lights and removed all the CCTV cameras, they did this before the military surrounded the protesters. They did it intentionally because they didn’t want the world to see their evil deed. Some people were able to go live on instagram, so we could see, but now the government has shut down all signals to the area so there is no service. All Lagos state emergency lines are off. The soldiers are blocking ambulances from going in to rescue those that have been shot and injured.

It is 10pm in Nigeria, these soldiers are still killing civilians.

They’ve arrested DjSwitch. She live streamed the whole thing. They’ve arrested her and taken her to an unknown location. The soldiers were instructed to shoot her on sight.

This was a necessary part of the process for Nazis to take over Germany. The use of street gangs, self-appointed militias, violent thugs, mad-dog killers and lone-wolf gunmen to create fear among the general populace and to intimidate political opponents was an important part of their stretegy. And also like Trump, they made sure that they coddled and cultivated these criminals and developed their ties to them, but without ever admitting it out loud so their opponents did not call them out on it. Fascism thrives by bringing violence, thuggery and criminality to societies that are tolerant, complacent and open-minded enough to let them do it without putting up a fight.

I suffered through a certain traumatic experience that gave me PTSD and depression to the point of trying to kill myself many times in secret, but reading Berserk for the first time and learning that young Guts deals with the exact same thing that happened to me at a young age, remaining strong and fighting without self-pity or shame for his past and never giving up no matter what, gave me the courage to stop feeling so ashamed and afraid of my past and to open up to the people close to me that eventually led to me getting the help I needed but not dared to ask for, so I’m not exaggerating when I say that Berserk saved my life.

A trend I’ve been seeing among non-voters is that “direct action” is more important than voting, but more often than not, the people who make these claims don’t even partake in any form of direct action.

If you do nothing but spew anarchist bullshit, then you’re not helping anyone. If you actually care about the state of our country, should AT THE VERY LEAST vote. It’s common sense.

Whenever someone starts talking about voting resources, I always like to boost Vote411! Run by the venerable non-partisan nonprofit League of Women Voters, you can register to vote, check your registration status, and also research your entire ballot and compare candidates, down to local races and ballot measures. Then you can email your choices to yourself (or print it out, if your state doesn’t allow phones in the polling place). The pre-research makes the physical voting process go very fast, which is ideal in this time of pandemic but also great in normal times.

If you’re new to voting and want to plan, or are just wondering things like “WTF is a Texas Railroad Commissioner and why do I care?” (answer: actually super important and in charge of oil/gas/mineral rights) or “there are 14 local judges to vote for, who??? are these people and where do they stand on important justice issues?” then this is the site for you.

The whole “don’t bother voting/vote third party” thing was pushed heavily by Russian troll accounts right here on Tumblr in 2016. This is well-documented. That’s what most of the trolls here were pushing when Tumblr finally rooted them all out (when it was far too fucking late). The trolls are doing the same thing now.
