Life Update. After a while.

It has been what? A year? Two years? Three? Since the last time I actually posted something here (not just those photos that are automatically posted, thanks to instagram.)

I’m sorry, I can write thousands of excuses and reasons and answers of why I haven’t written anything, posted anything on this lovely blog of mine. But those are only reasons. The truth is, I just haven’t blogged. I haven’t had the grasp of it since a pretty long time ago. I tried everything. I moved to bulaniskandar.weebly.com, I now collaborate with my twin sister on twinstimemachine.wordpress.com, but I haven’t had the hang of it......

.........I changed. And it was not for the better.

It’s also true that I was busy with school. But now I’m currently not doing anything. I’m on a gap year til this August. I try to fill my time with sewing. I love making clothes now. I learned it for around 3 months on last year. But still. I used to be busy too. Yet I always found times and seconds to write. But not anymore. I might have lost my touch. Or my love. Or the affection that I gradually constructed on this blog, gradually destroyed along as time passed by.

But now to be honest, I want to write daily. I want this feelings that I have, written into beautiful stories. I want to tell people that now I’m learning Japanese. I want to advice people not to learn Japanese. I want to tell people that now I try to keep healthy and eat healthy. I want to tell people that I am here to support them through their journey. I want my stories to be heard, once again. To reach somebody out there, once again.

I want to hear yours too.

2016 has been crazy, kind, surprising, shocking, exhausting, funny, loving and full of affection. 2016 taught me that you should not let the words of others impact you that much, if it will not make you happy. 2016 taught me that the real people who love you, will love you no matter what. 2016 taught me that it's okay to be sad sometimes and be always joyful. 2016 taught me to be grateful, to count the things that you have instead of longing for the things that you wish you had. 2016 taught me that ex boyfriends can be a real pain in the ass🤢😡. 2016 taught me that you don't need a high IQ to be empathetic and have common sense. 2016 taught me that I should fight for those who'll fight for me and for those who'll fight along with me. 2016 taught me that age doesn't measure your maturity. 2016 taught me that wealth doesn't mean you're happy. 2016 taught me that poverty doesn't mean no dignity. 2016 taught me that blood makes you relatives and bond makes you family. 2016 taught me to love myself though I'm still learning to embrace my flaws and imperfections. Thank you 2016 for being there when I crossed my bucket list one by one. Thank you for being a guide when I travel. Thank you 2016 for being a remarkable teacher and giving me a bunch of experiences. I am @bulaniskandar and I am now graduated. Hello 2017. I am @bulaniskandar and I am looking forward to meet you. I am yearning for new things, new stories and new smiles. Bring all the lessons to the year. I have some expectations though. Bring me to more field trips than what 2016 had brought me. Please spread more love and happiness. Let me feel more love and happier than I am now. P.S: Let me do one unaccomplished resolution that I had never have the time and courage to try and to do since 2013 along the way to 2016.
