“You’ll be alright, Mary.”
[Mary has 3 personas:
1. “Hi I’m a painting girl who literally knows nothing about the world so let’s be friends and eat this flavored snow on this cone thing” (applies to when Mary’s out of her home)
2. “You have stepped into my home / trap and now I will turn you into my doll mwahahaha” (applies to when Mary’s in her home and some person gets lost in the forest)
3. “I hate Garry” (applies to Garry)
Basically Mary’s normal at day and insane at night and hates Garry 24/7]

As much as he would have liked to parted ways, he was to curious, worried about the other girl’s whereabouts. She had gotten out with her, but so had he…and he had parted ways with her, but…is it possible that the blonde could have found her somehow? It was hard to think straight through this.
“Me? No…She didn’t stay with me, she returned with her parents…I-I think.” He really hoped she was with them and not anywhere near her.
——⊰✿⊱ “Well, it just means you should stop caring about her, dear,” she said with a tone of jealousy, “She has her own life, she’s happy, and she’s probably moved on. She doesn’t need you -- us -- anymore.” He was annoying her with asking about Ib, and she couldn’t help but be angry.
“I-I’m doing fine, Mary…” The brunet returned a smile of his own. “It’s been so long that we saw each other…”
——⊰✿⊱ “That’s good to hear, darling!” She said with a smile. “So, do you want to grab some coffee or dessert?”
Nocturne || Mary & Jin • Closed •
In the ever shining moonlit night did the blonde wander about in his natural ways. He danced and traveled about on the Earth free to be himself as long as he wasn’t caught. And not to be caught was his ploy for the evening. Jin had entranced–bewitched many of his prey for the night with a charming smile and whip of an illusion.
His hands guided a quadruple, two of male and female. Fooled silly little mortals to come to his aid as he lost them in the wilds of the night.
“This will be a night you’ll never forget.” He murmured softly to his dinner.
Cerulean hues gazed as to where they were; he should’ve thought of his plan more clearly and thoroughly ‘The forest is no place to feast.’ Jin mused to himself. A soft hum had passed by his lips leaving the blonde’s cozen food in bewilderment as Jin was lost in thought for a moment.
And luckily though, he had found himself a place deep within the heart of the forest ‘Curious little place.’ the blonde thought to himself yet, had no qualms whatsoever in invading the home. He opened one of the windows and took a room for the night.
‘Not like anyone would bother me– though, more food the merrier for me.’ Jin said internally though, mumbling out the last four words without voice. “Be patient my lovelies, I will get to all of you one by one.” He said in a husky tone of voice, before taking a bite out first from one of the males. The man had started to scream in pain, but Jin had made sure that the others were in a chimera of sheer pleasure so they would never come to his aid. He started to drink from the man’s collarbones; teeth plunging in deeper till he could hear the man’s bone crack under the pressure. Luscious scarlet liquid dribbled down the man’s skin, invigorating the vampire to claw down at his chest to further feel and see the sanguine colour of life.
‘A little blood bath house murder never hurt from time to time.’
——⊰✿⊱ In the dead of the night, the screams of the murdered were nothing more than muffled sounds to the asleep.
“Do you mind?” Mary asked her victim, “My sister is sleeping.”
The blade of her scalpel first found its way to the victim’s neck, silencing the man and leaving a pool of blood; it then penetrated the skin and sliced opened the body, revealing a vast color of red innards moving to the beat of the heart, only to stop after a short while when the heart itself was deprived of oxygen. Once this was done, she motioned her hand to one of the foreceps, removing the unnecessary and placing them in a sack, soaking itself of a bloody hue. There was more to this surgical operation, things she would not dare share with anyone, things a normal person could and would not handle very well, and she very well kept these secrets to herself. It wasn’t like she could meet anyone as morbid as her.
“Stabbing made the neck look ugly,” she whispered to herself, now staring at the empty husk of the once-human. “I will sew that in the morning, add stuffing, and adorn it with lovely clothing. And I shall call it another beautiful doll; it will be another one of my beautiful creations.”
Mary left the basement and locked it shut, hiding the key somewhere along the cracks of the walls. She walked upstairs, met by a long hallways stretching to both her left and her right. Her bedroom, along with her sister’s, was found at the right wing of the mansion, but something made her uneasy. The lady shifted herself to the left and, determined to know what it was, started walking forward, unknowing of what was hiding there. She felt a presence -- multiple, actually, and unless she wanted to believe in ghosts, her first guess was that there was an intruder, someone who somehow broke in her home and stayed in the only guest room they had. She stood in front of the room before opening it.
...Blood. She could smell blood.
With slight hesitation, she turned the knob slowly, her head peeping along with a ray of light coming from the hallway. There, in the dark corner of the room, was a figure crouching, feasting away on what looked like a human, blood from its body trickling down and through the cracks of the wooden floor. Whatever creature that was, it seemed like it was almost done with its dinner, the remains of its meal thrown in a pile beside it.
She gathered up courage and entered the room, the light from her line of sight shifting to reveal that the figure was human-like; it could be an actual human, she thought, probably a cannibal who needed somewhere to hide from the outside. It was a horrible sight to see it eat, yet Mary did not flinch.
“You could've just left the skin and bones for me, you know,” she whispered.

“It was kinda obvious, just from your actions, I figured it all out.”
“Ya didn’t need to hide it from me, y’know?”
——⊰✿⊱ “O -- Obvious? Ah, well, the cat’s out of the bag, I guess. Did you want to swim, dear?”

Haruhi watched the girl silently as she drank her tea. The other girl looked so happy and so excited. It was refreshing to see, since all the other guests here liked to stay refined. None of them had suck a youthful spirit as this one.
"It’s fine, miss,“ said Haruhi. "I’m glad you enjoyed the game!” At her question, Haruhi smiled. “In fact, we do. We have cakes, cupcakes, crumpets, cookies, danishes… Is there something you are craving for?”
——⊰✿⊱ She took a mental note on all the sweets the other mentioned, but Mary wasn’t familiar with half of them. It would be a bad impression to say she didn’t know what they were.
“Ma-ca-rons,” Mary said, remembering what her sister told her one time. “D -- Do you have those?” She wasn’t even sure if she pronounced it right.
“Nah– You’re completely fine.” Wyatt chuckled slightly as he gave her a dismissive wave of his hand. It was a bit of a letdown that the young girl didn’t know much about the town, but the invite to accompany him was rather nice of her. “Please don’t worry about it, alright? There are placing in my own hometown I’ve never been to, so I completely understand where you’re coming from. And sure, I would love it if you accompanied me. Perhaps that way, we can learn the layout of this town together.”
——⊰✿⊱ “Ah,” she said, a sense of belonging touching her heart. “Th -- that would be nice, yes. You are truly kind. I’m Mary, by the way!”
“So, um, I don’t know where to go from here, but I do know there is an ice cream stand near here.” It wasn’t the most useful advice, but Mary just wanted to mention what she knew.
Maybe he was harsher than necessary. Elliot sighed before speaking. “I did not know it was going to rain.” Maybe if you turned on the tv you would have known. Just sayin’.
“I don’t want to intrude, but thank you for your kindness nonetheless,” he said, this time in a softer tone. “Besides, it’s just a summer rain. It should stop soon–”
His speech was interrupted by a lightning in the distance, followed by a thunder, and then by the rain becoming more abundant.
“…or maybe not.”
——⊰✿⊱ The woman chuckled. “I was even going to slam the door on you because you wouldn’t accept my kindness. Good thing you changed your mind, dear.”
“The living room is here, you could rest your weary body for a while. And the weather is cold, would you like something hot to eat or drink? I have plenty of bread in the pantry, and I also have some coffee and tea -- unlike the instant coffee I have, my supply of tea is fresh and delightful. Also, you can turn on the television, if you feel like watching something.”

“mary! what’s yours? did you really look like me?”
——⊰✿⊱ “My name’s Mary too! B -- But it might be just a coincidence; Mary, after all, is a really common name. And yes, you remind me so much of, well, me! So, do you have any hobbies, or is there anything you want to do?”

They were toy seashells, but they sure looked real. Haruhi looked at the girl and smiled at her excitement over something as simple as toy seashells. She was glad that this was able to please her.
“Oh, yeah, sure,” said Haruhi. Usually there wasn’t a prize, because the girls were happy just spending time with the Hosts. Besides, they were rich enough to buy whatever they fancied. “I’ll do whatever you want if you win, how about that?”
——⊰✿⊱ “All done!” She said, like a child who was finished cleaning their room. The shells were nicely arranged according to color, making it look like a rainbow. “Ah, I apologize if I sounded quite childish; I’ve never had toys like these when I was a kid, plus a lot of colors make me happy. I did enjoy, nonetheless!
“Hmm -- Oh, do you have sweets? That is all I want, if you don’t mind, dear!”

He had almost began to doubt his own memories, but he knew that nightmare well. Its not something that could be easily forgotten. All he knew was that she shouldn’t be here.
“But…” Its true, you went up in flames. With his lighter to. He could have spoken those words to her now that there were no signs of tears, but he was afraid to get on her bad side. Although just being around her was enough for that.
The feeling was mutual, Garry didn’t want to be around this…living Mary either. It was unnatural, confusing, eerie. “As much as I do wish for an explanation…I feel the same.” But before he could even go, a sudden thought had crossed his mind. Something about the other girl that had been with them in that nightmare. “What happened to Ib?”
——⊰✿⊱ She thought they were done here, that their conversation would end and they could go their separate ways, but the way Garry had to ask, he had to care the way he did when they were all back in the gallery-- it sparked jealousy in Mary’s heart.
She knew he didn’t trust her; the feelings were mutual.
“I do not know,” Mary lied. “I -- I thought she was with you.”
