“Ahhh, I see now.” Rose chuckles and grins, her tongue poking out from between her teeth. “He’ll grow to love it in time, I know he will. He adapts easily to his surroundings.” She turns around to take a better look at the new look of the TARDIS. “You’re like the Chameleon Circuit.”
“Yes, he will love it,” the Doctor agreed, “When he becomes me. What do you mean I’m like the Chameleon Circuit?” he asked.
“I mean it in the way that you are able to change and adapt how you look yet still be the same person on the inside.” Rose muses, eyes never leaving the centre console.
“Yes, I suppose that’s true,” the Doctor smiled.
“Do you ever miss your past lives and faces?” Rose turns to the Time Lord, her eyes gazing into his own.
“No,” the Doctor told her, “I am me. That’s all there is to it.”
