Hello. I have made an update to the situation between Glip and I. In short, we have had an indepth discussion, and I now consider the removed posts from this blog irrelevant.

-Glip and I apologized to each other for all misconceptions and have come to an understanding. -Glip, in all matters and intent, was not abusive nor manipulative.

I have replaced the blog with a more comprehensive post regarding the situation, that can be read by clicking here [link]. I intend for this to be the last thing I say on the matter.

It’s been almost 2 years since Pengo made his original post, and just under 2 years since Eevee and I constructed our rebuttal to things he said.

Pengo and I now feel that neither of these posts matter anymore or are relevant in any way. We both talked extensively in an effort to reach some kind of understanding, and found that we both had a lot of misconceptions, stemming from one main one that neither of us knew until recently. Everything else kind of spiraled out from that, and we were able to untangle every other problem that we thought the other had, and to understand why these miscommunications happened.

If you’ve been bothering him because the post Eevee and I made, please stop. Don’t harass him. Don’t be antagonistic about him to other people.

My original vent post concerning him was never intended to be read by a lot of people, but I’ve since recognized the impact it’s had and apologized towards him for fact that people used it in order to go against him after I wrote it. At the time of writing it, I fully believed it would pass quietly as it was on my personal side blog behind a cut. I admit I hadn’t thought about the effects that my increasing audience would have, but I’ve since done my best to consider that in everything I post.

We’ve both already apologized to each other in private for our misconceptions and miscommunications; we both thought what we were writing was true, but it all stemmed from a major misunderstanding that rendered both our posts ultimately invalid.

If you know anyone who was invested in this topic at the time of his or my original posts, I ask that you please show them both of our new posts – this one, and his on this same topic right here.

need short term crash space in boston

you might know me as eris metis, because that’s my name.

the situation

i am looking for a place i can stay short term to get me away from a living arrangement that has become very tense and toxic. i need to remove myself for about a week to let things cool down. i am not cutting ties and i intend to return home at the end of my stay. not looking for long term roommates.

the facts

i am some sort of amab transgender girlish thing. i am very large and imposing but i am gentle. i am open to hugs if you ask first. i would prefer to stay with other trans or queer folks. my pronouns are she/her or they/them.

i have depression, adhd and severe anxiety, but i am nonviolent. i may need to be alone sometimes. environments with four or more people are probably not for me.

i am unemployed and broke so i can’t pay rent, but i will do what i can to help around the house. i can cook if i have a recipe to go by. i will likely spend the rest of the time on my computer.

if you are or know anyone who is part of the boston furry scene, all the better, because i know some of those people too. maybe we have friends in common?

since this is temporary, i won’t be bringing a lot of belongings. probably a duffel bag with a few days’ worth of clothes and my computer bag, at most.
