I have started doing a little doodle comic every game session for my college of swords bard Alti, and realized I should share them over here, please enjoy what I have so far~ (captions contain a brief description for the situation!)

I have some fresh doodle comics from the last 2 sessions, this plot is getting THICK

first, we defeated a gargantuan turtle sent after us by Avandra and were super respectful about it

then we had to explain to our ship crew why the turtle was after us (we’re carrying an evil sword to dispose of it responsibly, the Raven Queen gave one of our wizards a boon so it can’t hypnotize him) and convince them to please not mutiny on us

got some new doodle comics from the last 4 (four!!!!!) sessions! I fell off a lil bit there but this should catch you up!

first: we fought a t-rex… two t-rexes, actually

next time, Alti helped convince our Triton twins Oris & Mateas to unveil their secret noble lineage to our wizards, who are ALSO nobles, so what’s to worry about??

after fighting a buncha guys in flooded caverns, we made a BIG discovery about our salamander paladin, Seanit Beanit

and, most recently, still in the depths of the caverns, we made a new Triton ally who then made a terrible judgment call, I am so so sorry

it is time… for more doodle comics!!

two sessions are missing since they were mostly combat but I have some fun stuff from the other two…

including a heart-to-heart with Seanit that was only briefly interrupted by one of the warlock’s new summons

also I talk a lot about how Alti hates fishing, and I want it known it’s because they truly cannot seem to roll above a 10 on any of their fishing checks…. even when given advantage from a friend….. tragic…..

anyway, hopefully more doodles SOON!

speaking of Erika, she and Alti found out they shared some things in common, and they have a mutual understanding to deny everything! wow!

the party has caused so many gods (two so far) to threaten the ship ferrying us to our ultimate destination, that we are now giving them hazard pay… please don’t leave us……

most recently, we left off on the precipice of initiative inside a wizard’s tomb, but there was some miscommunication on timing prior to that

Alti has been reckoning with a lot over this journey, and recently they are coming to terms with the possibility that they’re doing a good job

in the last session, we finally made our way to the port town of Dalliance, but it coincided with being blown into the docks in a catastrophic storm, so… good opportunity for a Clone High reference, which I think makes it a win/win/win!!

but that’s the campaign up to speed, fingers crossed I will return with more doodles sometime soon~

it’s time for MORE DOODLE COMICS, I know it has been a while but I have at least a few to share! let’s start with an important introduction…

I’m sure we’ll see more of Grimbly Dee soon!! so, it turns out Grimbly Dee quit in a recent important restructuring of the ship to make sure our crew does not die as we head into even more dangerous waters, take it sleazy Grimbly…

@docvalentine sort of scripted this one in his sleep, and here I can barely script them awake 🥁 worth noting, these events did (mostly) happen in the campaign, as well! also worth noting that Doc scripted Grimbly Dee’s write-up in the prior comic as well, but I am pretty sure he was awake to write that one

ORIS has been UNPETRIFIED so you know it’s time to PARTY!!!! oh he has also picked up a Belt of Dwarvenkind so you know it’s time to have a BEARD!!!!

it has been a little tough to make comics as of late so I figured I’d post these for now, and I hope I will catch up on the others sometime in the future if my energy/inspiration returns from wherever it’s gone off to… fingers crossed!
