Oh hi there.

I’ve had a lot of shit happen, personal and with work.

I quit BN because fuck that place. Fuck a manager who has expressed their issues with my mental illness. It was very uncomfortable working there and I’m so glad I’m out.

I started working at a bakery and I love it. It doesn’t feel like work. Sadly I do have to leave because I only get minimum wage and 30 hours per week and I really can’t live on that.

This week I start as a Jewelry Consultant, so this blog will see some changes. I will still take all sorts of submissions, as always.

I'm still here!

I've really been struggling with my mental health, which has caused me to step away from things I've enjoyed. I'm currently taking medication that helps me get through days and nights with little to no anxiety. My depression is virtually nonexistent. Work is stressing me out beyond words, my manager has an issue with my mental health struggles and I am documenting everything she says about it and you bet your ass I'm turning that report in to HR. Starbucks has not called me back even though I applied for a barista not shift position, I guess they're not looking for someone with barista experience. I'm considering going through a temp agency to get out of food/retail in general. I have a new boyfriend and he makes me really happy. I didn't know people could be treated as well as he treats me.

Today I have decided

That I'm leaving bn I can't work with my manager anymore. She's too condescending, and she doesn't listen to any of my input on running the cafe (because I can actually do her job more efficiently than she can) I'm applying at Starbucks, I feel I'm definitely qualified to be a shift lead since that's essentially my position in my cafe. Any current partner have any tips, especially making the transition from a licensed to corporate store?

I guess when you're single you forget about trimming your nails.

We've been getting so behind, and today I was able to get us caught up. So caught up I left my closet with basically nothing to do for an hour except wipe the counters and trash.

I was going to start live blogging everything shitty but I forgot. I actually got to the point where I started filling out an application for a real Starbucks because my licensed store is just so fucking shitty.

This woman almost got me fired because she was angry that she couldn’t return her items when she wanted to, and that she got sale items for sale price. Wtf am I supposed to do?

Deductive Reasoning

So at the Supermarket I work at a few of the hypercoms (card readers) touch screens don’t work very well and so instead of using your finger like most people want to do you absolutely HAVE to use the pen.

Everytime I get stuck on that register I have customers banging on it, yelling at me - claiming that it doesn’t work. I very calmly look at them and say “Please try using the pen.” They then proceed to pound it with their finger until I hear a final huff and they snatch the attached pen and press accept. AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW IT WORKS.

Why is that such a hard concept to understand?

During depression cycle: Damn this sucks. I'd rather feel my anxiety right now Has panic attack: HOLY FUCKING SHIT I HATE THIS AT LEAST WITH DEPRESSION I CARE ABOUT NOTHING INSTEAD OF EVERYTHING! FUCK THIS! I can't win.

My new manager takes as much time as she wants on her breaks She basically does what she wants And my team is consistently venting to me about her and telling me I did a better job running the cafe But I'm the one doing things wrong.
