ok yes i may be evil and morally corrupt but i’m also incredibly beautiful and i think that makes up for it honestly
"Kurt?" Anny paused. "Um... We need to talk."
He smiled at how excited she was and got in the driver’s seat. He knew she’d been a bit stressed out during the the pregnancy but the cat would give her something else to focus on. He started up the car and drove off.
Anny loved animals. They definitely helped her calm down from any kind of stress as much as sex did. And petting a cat was generally a lot more acceptable in public, so it was nice to have the cat for distressing as well.
"We should get two cats."
It was cold, wet, and overall very dreary outside. While that remained to be Andy's favorite type of weather, when she was wearing designer clothing and leather boots, was definitely not an instance where she was too keen on it. Thankfully, however, there was a nearby little cafe looking building she went ahead and slipped into. It looked inviting enough, and she figured she'd likely be able to stay until the storm passed. Especially considering it appeared no one was around... (Hope it's okay!)
A clatter of dishes and a sigh of failure sounded from the kitchen. Nicholas gave up trying to wash them. He would let one of his few worker-bees do it in the morning. Better to stop now before his clumsiness caused him to break something.
Walking out, Nick fixed his hat to be sure it covered his fox ears and looked up to see that someone had wandered in.
“Oh, Uh..” He was about to give out the sorry-we’re-closed speak when a brief strike of familiarity hit him.
“Sorry.. Do I know you from somewhere?
Andy nodded. While she preferred the idea of being the one to share a room with Alexis, she wasn’t going to argue the arrangement. Besides, it would give her time to think about things.
Namely, the idea of seeing Pan after so many years. Forever didn’t begin to describe how long it felt since the last time she saw him.
“That arrangement is fine. I can sleep in Nicholas’ room.”
“Alright.” Alexis said. She led Andy to Nicholas’ room and set up the bed properly–sheets and all. “I’ll wake you up at eight, and we’ll get there at nine-thirty, latest.”
Andy smiled at the dry up. Alexis always had been a lovely host. "Thank you," she said, climbing into bed. "I appreciate everything."
"GET IN THAT WATER!" -Loki
My Muse is Filthy, Send “GET IN THAT WATER!” For My Muse’s reaction to Your Muse throwing them into a Bath Tub and forcing them to take a Bath..
Andy sat in the tub for all of thirty seconds, dumbfounded and surprised by the sudden situation, before screaming, acting as if this were a tub of Holy Water and he was a demonic creature that was slowly burning.
“No!” the noble child yelled, squirreling back out of the tub and running off out the door and down the hallway. “No, I will bathe!”
Now instead of dirt everywhere, there was mud, because he’d only spent long enough in the tub to get the dirt wet but not get it off his body. Thankfully, his family wasn’t home to see such a thing. Otherwise, they’d have been pissed.
Andy pouted when he said that was desert, not lunch. That was what he always had for lunch, so he wasn’t quite sure why the servant wouldn’t let him have it.
He was no fun, honestly.
“Alright,” he murmured. “Then I want…” He trailed off, realizing he didn’t actually know what he wanted. The maids usually made dinner, and his brother usually took care of figuring it all out. “I don’t know,” he eventually muttered.
Loki frowned. “What do you mean by ‘you don’t know’? You must have appetite for something.”
Always the same with the boy, or… children in general. Oh well, he would figure something out.
“How about scrambled eggs?” He suggested, ignoring the childs pout.
"But that's breakfast!" Andy exclaimed, way more dramatically than was entirely necessary in this situation. "If I can't have dessert for lunch, then I don't want breakfast for lunch, either."
Ah, children.
"I want eggplant. Can I have that?" he asked. "I like eggplant." The boy was a vegetarian. He liked pretty much any vegetable. Except carrots. Blech.

"Can I sleep on your couch?"
“If you really want to, sure.” Alexis replied, sitting on the arm of the couch. She took a sip of whiskey and set the bottle on the coffee table.
“I’d think you would prefer a bed, but it’s your choice.”
“If you’re trying to be nice to nice, he’s only going to spit that niceness back at you. Seriously.” Alexis chuckled, but she didn’t protest. If Andy wanted it, she would supply. In this respect, at least.
“I’ll grab you some pillows and a blanket.” She smiled before going off to do just that.
“It’s not about trying to be nice,” Andy said, calling after Alexis as she went off to get pillows and blankets. “It’s about…” Something, she finished to herself. She didn’t actually know what it was about, honestly.
With a sigh, she sat back and closed her eyes.

Andy frowned and then shrugged.
"I mean, I would prefer a bed," she said, "but..." Actually, she couldn't think of a reason she didn't want a bed. Maybe because the only one around seemed to be Alexis' and she didn't want to kick Nicholas out of his again?
Yeah, that sounded about right.
"I don't know. I think I'd just be more comfortable on the couch tonight. I have a lot to think about tonight, honestly."

Andy sighed softly. It hurt to hear none of them were immortal at this point. This — it really sucked. A lot. All the years she knew they’d been around, and all of a sudden, they had clocks on their lives. It was terrible!
"I suppose I should rest," she said. To be honest, she was tired, but she didn’t really want to sleep. There was too much going through her mind to sleep. "Where?"
“Nicholas likes to sleep in a bunch of pillows—he can move his nest to my room, and you’ll use his.” Alexis sighed as she led Andy back inside, making sure Nicholas heard. He nodded and went to complete the task.

"Where? Space?" Alexis snorted. She knew well enough that it wasn’t possible unless she was willing to live out her days in the Amazon, which she definitely wasn’t. "I’ll last a long time, Andy. I—we—just aren’t immortal anymore."
"Rest for tonight." She said, putting out her cigarette and flicking it down. "We’ll find Pan in the morning."

"A few months. Maybe.. Five." Alexis sighed. She stared in the dark corners now, in places lacking illumination, trying to see if there was anyone lurking.
"It’s about an hour away.. If we were to drive."
Andy sighed. This was terrible, and so recent. How had she not known about this? Granted, she hadn't been in Arcadia, but still--she should have known something was going on. After all, she considered it her home.
"At least let me get you somewhere without iron."

"Don’t know. Don’t know. Vague idea." Alexis shrugged. She finished off her cigarette and tossed it off the balcony, then stole Andy’s. She didn’t seem to be using it.
"I think Pan opened up a shop in Baton Rouge. At least, that’s what a couple of halfbreeds told me after I beat them half to death." She said, taking a drag. The smoke burned her lungs as she let it sit for a moment before breathing and continuing.
"Makes sense. The ones who survived fled here to Louisiana, California, New York, Ireland and England—our strongholds."
"Hey!" Andy said, as if she were offended. "I was going to use that," she muttered, but went for another one.
This time, she didn't forget about the cigarette and actually took drags off it.
"Pan is in Baton Rogue? That's not far from here, is it?" she asked, trying to gauge where that was exactly. It couldn't be that far--could it? "How long has it been since you fled?"
She wondered if it'd been awhile--and if it had, how had she now noticed Arcadian creatures?
