In a move designed to streamline the product’s interface and facilitate one of the more common interactions between customers and the ride-sharing service, Uber announced Wednesday that its newest update would allow users to file a lawsuit against the company from directly within the app. “We’ve listened to the community, and we’re excited to introduce a feature that will make bringing litigation against us—whether for sexual harassment, racial profiling, or aggravated assault—as quick and easy as hailing a ride,” said Uber co-founder and CEO Travis Kalanick, demonstrating the app’s new “Sue Us” button, conveniently located in the main menu.

As you probably know, Bob Dylan’s 75th birthday is today! Holy moley. There will be endless Bob content across the internet, of course. I got in a little bit early over the weekend over on Pitchfork with this deeply nerdy look at some possible artifacts that have yet to emerge, officially or unofficially. There’s even more stuff I left out: Dylan and the Hawks at Carnegie Hall in the fall of 1965! Possible lost Blood on the Tracks tunes! Street Legal piano demos! The early 1990s David Bromberg covers album! Probably a ton of other things no one even knows about! And how about a tape of Dylan and the Band backing up Cher at David Geffen’s birthday party in 1974, pictured above? It’s probably resting in Bob’s archives, awaiting discovery.

Anyway, I’ll leave it to someone else to talk about Dylan’s importance or relevance or whatever – I’ll just say that I really enjoy listening to/talking about/reading about/thinking about Bob Dylan. Without getting too grandiose, it’s a privilege to share the same plane of existence with the dude. Happy birthday!

I guess this is just how 2016 is going to be – we won’t go more than a few days without the loss of another musical legend. Guy Clark is gone, but he left behind a body of work that’ll stand the test of time. I’m listening to this late 80s recording of Guy and his pal Townes Van Zandt this morning, trading songs and stories, not too far from the LA Freeway Clark sang so memorably about. Whole bunch more to check out at the link, as well. RIP.

01 Intro 02 Blue Ridge Mountains (Guy & TVZ) 03 Interview 04 Buckskin Stallion Blues (TVZ) 05 Interview 06 Old Friends (Guy) 07 Interview 08 Pancho and Lefty (TVZ) 09 Interview 10 The Indian Cowboy (Guy) 11 Interview 12 Rake (TVZ) 13 The Shrimp Song (TVZ) 14 Interview 15 The Partner Nobody Chose (Guy) 16 Interview 17 The Hole (TVZ) 18 Interview 19 Homegrown Tomatoes (Guy) 20 Interview 21 Don't You Take It Too Bad (TVZ)

Singer Kacy Anderson and fingerstyle guitarist Clayton Linthicum carve out plenty of room for play in their take on British and Appalachian folk and pre-electric blues. Though only 19 and 21, respectively, they’ve already released three albums, finally reaching a U.S. audience with their latest, Strange Country. The second cousins hail from rural Saskatchewan, where they absorbed knowledge and borrowed instruments from their elders, did their own record collecting, filled in the gaps with obscurities others posted online, and developed their musical voices in tandem, valuing freedom alongside familiarity.

Saw these two open for Daniel Romano and really liked them, glad to see they are getting some attention.

OAK BROOK, IL—Calling the new menu item a cool, refreshing way for consumers to finish their meals, McDonald’s officials introduced the Spearmint After-Dinner Big Mac during a press event Tuesday at the company’s corporate headquarters. “Our new Spearmint Big Mac takes the classic, all-American burger customers love and gives it a minty twist that’s perfect for cleansing your palate and freshening your breath,” said McDonald’s CEO Steve Easterbrook, explaining that the new Big Mac’s menthol-and-sesame-seed bun, spearmint-oil-infused American cheese, and two all-beef patties provide a delicious and intense burst of mint that’s “perfect for capping off any Value Meal.”

First I thought this was some real and awful accompaniment to the Shamrock Shake
