did kiana mai’s character trope design challenge where I synthesize a character based on commonalities in all my favorite tropes and wound up with an earthbound alien named S80 (pronounced ‘Sadie’) who’s job is to uplift humans before their imminent destruction, but she’s fascinated and distracted by the rest of the life on earth. she has uplifted a growing number of other earth animals like cats and corvids and now they’re like familiars and mentors. but . . . will their combined knowledge of earth and its ecosystems be enough to get humanity back on track?
character designers: this is a fun challenge and I loved it and recommend it if you have a spare couple of hours. really makes you sit down and unpack what kinds of traits/tropes you like and how/if they could fit together.
