LET SUE PLAY CHARADES
Back to school, looking better than I feel.
Back to school, looking better than I feel.
I had this idea since late august or so, and it took so long to finally get it done but!! Here it is, I hope you’ll enjoy, sorry it’s so damn long.
I kept thinking how what we mostly see is Iwaizumi doing things for Oikawa’s sake, being there for him, so I really wanted to show Oikawa doing the same. And knowing tiny Iwa’s infamous love for bugs, I wanted to do something about it and got…. a bit carried away, I swear I only planned Oikawa giving Iwa a beetle plushie or something…
Few details to clear it up about Oikawa’s lie..In my head, they are at the very beginning of their journey. They haven’t been friends for too long, and small Oikawa isn’t quite sure Iwaizumi considers him a friend on the first place. He didn’t want to get too overbearing or to look like he tried too hard (good job on THAT), like it was “no big of a deal”.
Just something to make it all better, I’ve read that yellow chrysanthemums symbolize friendship and trust in Japan, and that the growing of the flower can mean the bond deepening, so that’s where I was going with that. (and I hope I did not mess it up, since I was relying on the internet and some things I read were extremely contradictory but I included it anyway.)

“that spike has so many layers, shrek-chan!”
every day we stray further from gods light
Kyoutani having a hard time showing affection in the beginning of his relationship with Yahaba.
- Kyoutani walking close enough that he can pass off the occasional brushes of their shoulders as an accident.
- Kyoutani holding onto Yahaba’s shoulder as he balances on one foot to put on his sneakers.
- Learning to not reflexively pull away at Yahaba’s more forward touches.
- Interlocking pinky fingers while they sit together, because Kyoutani doesn’t have the heart to weave his fingers between Yahaba’s in public.
- Yahaba telling Kyoutani ‘its okay’ when Kyoutani pulls his hand away from Yahaba’s face suddenly.
- Kyoutani leaning his head against Yahaba’s back after a hard day of classes and practice.
- The millisecond of panic when Yahaba nuzzles into Kyoutani’s shoulder and oh my god, what do I do??
- Kyoutani hating himself after accidentally bruising Yahaba’s waist when they were getting a little heated.
- Yahaba covering Kyoutani in kisses because he shouldn’t worry about such things.
- Kyoutani waking up from a nightmare and reaching out to touch Yahaba. To make sure he is still there, and twining their fingers together gently.
- Kyoutani learning little by little that touch isn’t always a bad thing.

bad kenma
With a swivel of the hip, he spun around finishing off one of his dance moves and saw his friend watching him. Normally, someone who gets caught dancing alone would stop and be embarrassed, but this is not the case with Kuroo. Even more so because it was Kenma. The middle blocker kept a smug face and took a step with a dance move toward Kenma. Then another. And another. He was busting them out left and right until he closed the gap between them, finishing it off with another spin.
Kenma didn’t know why but something about the weird normality of the situation was obscurely satisfying to the setter. He somehow managed to keep a straight face at his captains ridiculousness until his finishing spin to the beat of music Kenma couldn’t hear, that managing to pull a smile out of Kenma and a short huffed out laugh, one probably unheard to Kuroo above the music but seen easily enough.
