So like, wanted to do a li’l update; Super sorry about barely posting anything for the past month eheh heh… I’m still managing my hand/wrist/arm situation, so that’s why. And 90% of what I’ve posted is old stuff I drew previously. This was the first day in a looong time my wrist didn’t feel like broken glass all day, so that was good. Still wanna kinda take it easy if I can tho.

Also, thank u for being encouraging about DnD and loving Koreo. Happy to report Koreo survived their first adventure! It ended with Koreo threatening to blow up a building to save their new friend lol.

Koreo jumped off a very high bridge and it went very well, we’re all very proud of Koreo

NATG: Dark Secret

Hey, I never went into what this post was about. So basically my headcanon was that, before Nightmare Moon got moon’d she unleashed a bunch of tantabus on Equestria. They were utterly mindless, programed only to consume and destroy, kinda like a “magical virus.” And Celestia hunted them all down and exterminated every last one. Almost.       One was different. This one could think and feel. Didn’t seem right to eradicate it, so Celestia adopted her brought it under her wing. It was a little piece of Luna left behind. Not the monstrous Nightmare, but Luna. And she would cherish it. Also, train it to do paperwork and kick butt.

This is such an extremely cool pony~

Eight short years ago a particular cartoon about magical, multicolored horses aired for the first time. And in that time they’ve waxed about the importance of many marvelous morals like sharing, caring, compassion, etc. But there is one very important central theme, integral to the entire show, and that is change, and how it is never too late to redefine yourself.

Whether you are a ten year old filly with an oppressive parental figure, or a ten hundred year old princess struggling with self-love, there is hope for you. The franchise itself underwent a considerable change; from a pop culture punchline to a pop culture punchline but now one that is also a beloved pop culture phenomenon that has inspired so much genuine good and wonder. Heh, I’m sure you’ve all heard me say countless times how many friendships and acts of good this show has inspired, and it’s all still true!

This is something that I love about the show. Even the characters that had lost all faith in the world or in themselves, no matter how hopeless or helpless they felt, still always had that chance to change, to make the difference, to turn it all around and be a force of good. I think that’s a pretty nice thing to believe in.

So a toast: to change.

I read it! After all the Pony Facts posts, I think Heir Facts are cool too.

TheeLinker (the co-collaborator on the La Da Dee video) and our longtime pony pal xHaZxMaTx have made this absolutely stunning video made entirely from my art. Now I know how Twilight Sparkle felt when she became an alicorn. So many memories… I missed my tumblr anniversary this year, but here’s something to fill that void.

 This is something I’ve touched on before, but it’s worth repeating; I see so many up-and-coming artists, fresh on the tumblr boat, and I can’t help but get excited for the adventure that awaits them. When I think back on these past seven years of running Final Skies, I see all the friendships I’ve made along the way. I think about how it really has been a dream come true. And the same things are in store for you too, aspiring doodle bug.   Just remember: Never stop if drawings something you love to do, you don’t have to be an incredible artist to make an incredible difference in someone’s day, and always stay fantastic
