“He stopped worrying about seeming normal, let people see a glimmer of the madness within him and let them guess at the rest. Someone got too close, he threw a punch. Someone dared to put hands on him, he broke a wrist, two wrists, a jaw. Dirtyhands, they called him. Haskell’s rabid dog. The rage inside him burned on and he learned to despise people who complained, who begged, who claimed they’d suffered. Let me teach you what pain looks like, he would say, and then he’d paint a picture with his fists.”

POWER SERIES — cyberkinesis [saɪbə(r)kɪˈniːsɪs]
the ability to manipulate various forms of technology and technological constructs including, but not limited to, computers, robots, and hardware. unlike many other mutations, the power often tailors itself to the strengths of its individual users, making it incredibly rare for identical forms of the power to exist in separate hosts. for example, one user might find that they can cross the line between the technological world and reality, allowing them to propel themselves or others into television programs or the internet, while another discovers that they can do the opposite, bequeathing them the ability to temporarily pull people, things or objects from their technological host and into physical existence. As of recent, a new slew of mutants with this ability has found that they are able to physically intwine themselves with technology, allowing themselves to regenerate and charge as if they were a machine rather than human using various methods, such as “plugging themselves in” for a charge or simply draining the energy from machines. There have been a rare few of those gifted with cyberkinesis that have been capable of taking on more advances qualities of a machine, allowing themselves to cross the barrier between what is human and what is robotic, resulting in morphing into what can only be characterized as a cyborg.
Users can render themselves unseen by the naked eye and become invisible in visible spectrum. The user can move about an environment unseen by others and act without being observed. Some users can choose to let certain people see them, while staying invisible to others.
POWER SERIES : TECHNOKINESIS.
also referred to as ’ cyberkinesis ’ ; ’ mechanokinesis ‘ ’ technological control ’ or ’ technology control ’ ; ’ technopathy ’ ’ machine ’ &OR ’ electronic manipulation ‘.
your interaction with machines has always been a little less than normal, easily programming the most intricate of machinery without any prior knowledge & even re-writing entire coding. the real trip here is that you’re not touching the computer. data & records are manipulated to your preference — technology understands what you require merely by asking it. blackouts are a common occurrence in town & to keep witnesses silent you trap them within virtual prison. computer viruses run rampant throughout the cyber world, erasing identities & stealing information, satellites going haywire, nanite bots damaging everything in sight, repairing corrupted files. no one can defeat the most technologically advanced being in the universe when they’re hiding behind the most sophisticated software to date.
POWER SERIES : HAEMOKINESIS.
also referred to as ’ blood bending ’ ; ’ hematokinesis ‘ ’ blood control ’ ; ’ sanguine control ’ &OR also ’ blood manipulation ‘.
sanguine claret ; life force ; blood. different names yet all the same to you who can easily manipulate not only your own, but others as well. this skill is frightening & reasonably so — clotting blood, consuming it, generating crimson liquid like this a second nature to you. many avoid your wrath as it always ends in a bloodbath. no pun intended. to form weapons from your own life force is quite a feat, but to induce pain, paralysis, death — turn your victim into a helpless marionette ? that, is pure talent. but you just can’t seem to help going overboard & one day it’s going to kill you.
POWER SERIES — blood manipulation [bləd məˌnipyəˈlāSHən]
the ability to generate, manipulate and control the blood of oneself and that which surrounds them. this mutation often takes on similar characteristics to water manipulation, with its users holding the capacity to shape, create, solidify and animate blood in the same manner one might manipulate other liquids. often considered one of the darkest of superpowers, users may go as far as to use their ability to puppet those around them, and may also yank their life force from them if they so choose. however, humanity often overlooks the medical advantages that come with blood manipulation, such as the ability to spawn and regenerate blood not only within the user alone, but in others. those blessed with blood manipulation must tirelessly train to better their ability so as to avoid being a danger to society, and often resort to using themselves as test subjects for such exercises.
