Long fingers reached for their counter part’s, lacing around the slender digits for a snug grip. The airport was rather crowded as they stepped out of the baggage claim and Changmin had no intention of loosing his lover day one of their trip. He adjusted his backpack over his shoulders, the straps resting comfortably on the fabric of his quarter sleeved shirt. His usual wardrobe, which mostly consisted of soft button ups and vests were traded in for cotton Ts and casual jeans.
“What number one on our trip? Besides checking into the hotel,” Changmin asked his lover who had been more than just excited to take care of everything. Still, Changmin had some ideas of own. Though most centered around showing Heenim where he spent his college years.

It seemed that, the further away they got from home and the closer to the clouds they got, the more Heenim had relaxed. For the moment, he was leaving all of his worries behind, all of the paranoid glances behind him and the extra steps he went through to make sure his lover was safe from the shadows that followed the demon everywhere he went, but moving around had always meant safety to him. At the moment, he felt very safe.

“Food, of course.” Heenim tossed Changmin an easy smile, weaving them through the crowds of people trying to reach their destinations. It wasn’t often that he actually used an airport to travel around the world, but his sense of direction was more than just a little accurate, and soon enough, he was having to slide his shades off of the top of his head to block his eyes from the sun, flagging down the first taxi he saw. “I figured we would get settled in and then find that place you have been raving to me about since I met you.” Taking the bags from his lovers hands, he placed all of their luggage in the trunk of the car before opening the door for the other to get in.

You were creation, and I was destruction. And by some kind of flaw in the design of nature, we came together, fierce and fiery and with more passion than the world had seen before, but there’s a reason we were never supposed to be together, creation and destruction. Because on my way to kiss you, I felt you crumble under my lips, helpless and willing as long as it meant being mine, but I tried to warn you, so many times did I try to warn you that, no matter how strong you were, no matter how many flowers you made bloom, I would always be right behind you, tearing apart the things you’d brought to life. In my path you stood, and on my way to tear down all that was good, I destroyed the one thing I loved. I destroyed you.

And for that, I am truly sorry.

The simple touch pulled Changmin closer, almost as though he was lost in a trance that was Kim Heenim and he finally breathed into the kiss, pulling back slightly only to say, "That sounds perfect. Anywhere with you is perfect." He softly chuckled against his lover's lips, leaning in for one more kiss.

Heenim put his agreement into the kiss, etched in his smile that molded perfectly with Changmin’s. Centuries of living and not once had he found someone who could make his usually calm heart pick up speed this way until he’d met the other. He brushed his fingertips along his lover’s jaw as he pulled away, warmth in his gaze as he allowed himself a moment just to take in every feature in front of him as if he didn’t do it every chance he got.

Changmin's lips curled at the excitement that all but jumped off his lover's face. "Here," he reached into his pockets to pull out his wallet, handing the other his card. "I can't imagine we'd find the cheapest flights planning this last minute. But it's going be great."

“You cannot put a price on experience and relaxation, my love. It is entirely priceless.” Without argument, he took the card between his fingers, slipping it into his wallet for later use, but it was highly unlikely that he would let Changmin foot the bill entirely, if at all. “I will take care of the arrangements. You just worry about packing your bag and settling things here.” With a gentle finger under his lover’s chin, he beckoned him closer, lips only a breath apart. “Soon, we will fly away and leave all our worries behind to deal with later.”

"Japan? For two weeks?" He offered a light smile, fingers reaching up to brush his lover's hair from his eyes. "I can show you where I spent my college years, that famous Ramen place I keep mentioning, and anything else you want."

Heenim hummed as he leaned into the touch, unable to keep the excited grin from his face. “Should I make the arrangements, then?” There was no way he would tell his lover no, especially when he’d made the very same request not too long ago.
