it still upsets me that dean doesn’t know that naomi made cas kill hundreds of copies of him but cas still couldn’t kill the real him

It just gets to me how Cas LETS Dean manhandle him and doesn’t even raise his hands. Simply stares as if daring, “And what are you going to do next, Dean?”

Gif appreciation time!! 

1) I just spent like a full 3 minutes watching this gif for Jensen’s eyelashes. Like, how they so long and pretty? HoW is tHaT POSsiBLE?!

2) I loved how totally gratuitous this was and how especially that first gif absolutely looks like a gif from the start of a sex scene. Heavy breathing? Check. Prolonged eye contact? Check. Unnecessary physical contact? Check. **Things** happening below frame? Check. ALL the UST in the world? Check. I demand that this be revisited again and resolved as soon as humanly possible.

3) I know that Dean’s/Jensen’s look in the second gif is supposed to be saying “We are not through with this. Believe me, we will be talking about how you ‘came into my room and played me’ again later!” but it looks sooooo much more like “We are not through with this. Believe me, later I will be coming back to throw you against the wall and take your pants off! Wait, shit, no, I mean…to kiss that lying mouth! Wait, shit, no, I mean…to fist your fucking coat and drag you into my room and…Wait, shit, I mean…oh hell…”

4) The intimacy of the framing gets me every time. This was a beautifully directed episode with circles everywhere (I know there was a gorgeous gifset of this cinematography…by @frozen-delight maybe?). Anyway, it’s wonderful, and gives us the impression that we’re spying on them, seeing something we’re not meant to see (or maybe even know about) just like the way the mixtape scene was shot. I’m becoming more and more convinced that “intimacy” is the keyword of S12 (and maybe I will write about that elsewhere).

5) How many takes do you think it took for Misha to not laugh? I feel like he’s close to it for a second in the first gif and I can only imagine the kind of jokes being thrown around on set. Also, Jensen, why are your ears on fire? It’s kind of spreading down your neck too, actually…but maybe it was just, like, warm out.

Can i also point out the glance down jensen/dean does in the second gif, the kind of eye contact that usually suggests desire or flirtation? Because DAMMNIT

Honestly , whoever pretends that the way they look at each other in the first gif is platonic is a massive hypocrite .
