It's not r*pe, it's rape. It's not su*cide, it's suicide. Not unalive, dead. The backbone needs to be reintroduced en masse because softening the blow of these concepts with advertising language does absolutely nothing but allow people unaffected by them to feel not even a sting of what they can do, prompting inaction.

And it's been proven that on certain websites, you don't even face a repercussion for using the words as they are. People just started censoring themselves because they feared the potential lack of views and likes and followers which is so nasty itself.

Small artists you need to understand that when you see an artist who you think has 'made it' tells you not to worry about the numbers and to not fret about getting more likes than reblogs they are not telling you it because they think you are stupid for caring or because they dont need to network to survive they are very likely telling you that because they have witnessed first hand the way the numbers game tears people to shreds in terms of mental health and motivation

Beginner artist: It’s easy for you to say not to worry about the numbers because you don't have to do it anymore.

Advanced artist, shaking them by the shoulders: DON'T DO THIS, it's a never-ending loop of trying to satisfy the nameless statistical tables that make you think your worth is measured by the number of people you can entertain.

what will always be one of my favorite things about astarion is that he still wants to be loved. he's been hurt so much, hurt beyond comprehension, hurt beyond words, but he still hasn't given up on love. perhaps he doesn't realize it, perhaps he doesn't understand it, perhaps he doesn't know what kind of love or what love even looks like but he craves it. he craves it deeply without having seen it. it will be painfully unfamiliar to him but he will latch onto it instinctively and maybe hate himself for it but that's so beautiful about him. somewhere deep down, there's a part of him which knows he deserved better, wants better, will fight for something better. it's seen in his protectiveness. life has done every possible thing to make him bitter and selfish and cruel but he isn't. he's so soft when he feels safe enough. he's so gorgeous in the way that such a fragile and kind part of him survived unfathomable horrors.
