In this animated diary entry, Dawn can't contain her love for fifth grade heartthrob Dan any longer and decides to make a move...a rather nontraditional move.

#tbt Horses and Jesus

On June 17th, 1992, I found myself at a Christian ranch camp in Marquette, Nebraska.

In addition to transforming fifth graders into rodeo stars, the camp had a second, more important objective: to save us from eternal damnation. Although the momentous decision I made on this day would be regarded by many as the most important moment of my life, I found equal spiritual fulfillment in lunch and shuffleboard.

My 1992 Diary is now available for pre-order. Check it out! Over 50% never-before-seen content.

Barforama and b*tches

On February 12, 1992, my rebellious spirit truly showed itself - first through my remarks on our family dinner and then through a sassy (and incredibly long) acronym I made up to describe my least favorite teacher.

#tbt Puberty and Stuff

March 6th, 1992 was that equally dreaded and anticipated day in the fifth grade where boys went to one classroom and girls to another for a very special conversation.

#tbt Giving Paula a run for her money

Today I revisit my 5th grade dance recital. In my French braid, turquoise glasses, and long silver tie, I tiger-jump my way to greatness...before ending up excessively stage-right.

Guest submission: Dina

I guess it's called HOT lunch for a reason.

Here's a pic of Dina in 1990. You can't really blame James for trying.

Dina is a stay-at-home-mom in Hoboken, New Jersey, teaching her daughter how to have safe hot lunch.

Thanks Dina!
