Whoops

So that returning for good post? I guess I kinda lied to you all about that. The first thing that happened right after I made that post was pretty much the equivalent of being buried alive, but in work. For the rest of the month of July all the way through this month I had been working relentlessly, and will continue to do so for the rest of the year as I am about to start on a third children’s book, as well as a brand new job illustrating for a small company.

I was hoping Patreon could cover some of the financial slack but it didn’t go off that well, but that’s good, because I couldn’t really find the time to contribute to it, HAHA.

So I guess what I’m saying here is that the future of this blog is undecided. It really pains me to say this but I’m actually not sure when I would be able to update here again. Maybe when the planets align just right, I will make an new post every now and then when I can find a day to take the time to answer some asks. For now though, this blog may remain silent for a while longer.

Its official, I am now certified Magma trash. I just need some black pants to go with it and I'm set!

Also omg I couldn't help showing you guys, I'm usually really shy about showing off pics of my chunky self, but look at this sweater you guys, LOOK AT IT. (Also that fuzzy thing next to my leg is my cat's tail...lol)

I got a few asks regarding heights, so I doodled this out. Found out Archie was 5'7??? and went from there. Mixing heights from the terrible anime Archie/Maxies, with my own dumb headcanon and you get this tall lanky RSE Maxie and pocket ORAS Maxie for some reason.

(Disclaimer: Aside from Archie, the rest of the heights are purely speculation, I just thought it be fun to use an idea like this, lol)

EDIT: I had several people notify me that Archie's height was translated incorrectly, so I've fixed this to reflect more proper heights, sorta.

Regarding the old and new designs

I thought I should address this before I started updating again. I decided that the older versions of Archie/Maxie and the new ORAS versions will be different characters with their own personalities, and will react to questions much differently from each other. They will also be able to interact with each other due to some dimensional paradox or something, just go with it, haha.

I will alternate between these characters every weekend, but if there was a certain pair you guys wanted to see, be sure to specify when putting together an ask :D

I'm back from expo and with a huge surplus of Team Aqua and Team Magma bookmarks! I think I have around 170+ bookmarks left from each set and I really wanna sell them to you guys since I had a few inquiries about them already!

They're printed on thick, glossy paper and pretty sturdy and sparkly. As for the price, they'll be 3$ each or you can buy both for 4$+shipping.

I’ve kicked around the idea of shipping them for funsies, and they’ve been my otp since the original r/s/e came out, but when I started this blog I had the idea of making them long-time frenemies instead, the potential for hilarity was too great to pass up, haha.

Back in my old highschool kawaii yaoi phase I would draw shipping art of them a lot, and it was quite embarassing to say the least, when people would peek through my sketchbook and find things like this:
