English Translation on3学期ならではのトライアングル (The unique triangle “trio” in the 3rd semester)

Here to show proof about the “love triangle” (三角関係) in P5R. I’m aware that someone translated this section already but I wanted to translate it too to confirm it for myself AND to show that more than one translator has seen this part in the guidebook and used their translating knowledge on it.

So… here’s my translation (英語の翻訳は間違いがあったら、直してくださいね! 🙏 )

TN: Ren is called 主人公 (the protagonist) in this so I named him Protagonist in this translation for easier understanding I guess.

Wada: We’re glad to have positive feedback from fans for letting Akechi and Sumire fight freely, despite the 2 characters only being playable for a limited period of time throughout the whole story. It also appears that the scriptwriter’s favorite part in the story is the combination of Protagonist, Akechi, and Sumire fighting together during the beginning of the 3rd semester. During this period, I’m thinking that Akechi deep down in his heart, doesn’t give a damn about Sumire. So when he’s the navi, he does politely say “Yoshizawa-san is down!” when she’s down, but when Sumire attacks and misses, he’ll severely criticize her. He’ll coldly say something like “So that’s all you got huh”. In a sense, it’s like he’s involved in a love triangle going on with Protagonist (laughs). I think it’s an interesting period in the story where he seems to be like “Whatever…” to anyone other than Joker.

TN: 死ぬほどどうでもいい in a literal sense, means “Doesn’t care to death” but that doesn’t sound natural in English. “Doesn’t give a damn” or “Doesn’t give a (flying) fuck” has a similar meaning so…

TN: “Whatever…” is an indication that Akechi doesn’t care about anyone other than Joker

Again my translation isn’t perfect. You can look at the Japanese text and correct me if you will. Man that block of text was tedious to translate o(-(

“Sakura never forced her feelings on Sasuke! He wasn’t uncomfortable with her! ”

Jesus this is so fucking stupid. How can some of the SS fans claim for a moment that Sakura never forced her feelings on Sasuke? Like how on hell?

Why are they so hypocrite as to accept the fact that Karin’s forced her feelings on him but ignore the fact that Sakura DID IT TOO.
  • “Sakura was hugging him because she was worry for him, so that doesn’t count!” Excuse me, but that is not a good argument and that doesn’t broke the fact that Sasuke didn’t wanted to hug her, touch her or with her in a romantic way
Example 1:
“STOP , DON’T HUG ME. ”

Is that big enough? She was worry for him yes but that is not a free pass to invade someone else space.

That is still a forced hug because he didn’t wanted.

Example 2:

She was the one who hugged him again and Sasuke didn’t even paid her enough attention since I remember well that he was thinking about Itachi in that moment.

Example 3:
Image

I don’t know in what country you guys live but THAT is a rejection. Sakura FORCED her feelings on Sasuke NOT ONCE but THREE TIMES.

Me, me , ME and me. She was using her feelings to try to stop him of leave the village, without counting that she never asked him once about how he felt. It was just

“If you stay with ME everything will be better”

Here she wasn’t not only forcing her feelings on him she was also tryng to make him feel pity for her hy insulting herself. That is low and it was even more stupid from Kakashi to said that she never gave up on him when she did and tried to kill him.

This is from Sakura’s novel and I think I don’t have to explain to much of it since is fucking obvious

She herself accepted the fact that her feelings were unrewarded, doesn’t matter how many times she tried. < At this point Sasuke already rejected her TWICE but the most significant one was this

And EVEN with that she still tried to force her feelings on him again.

And is not me, she herself said it

“So I’ll tell Sasuke however times it takes! ”

She never forced her feelings on him? Is that a daydream you guys have? She did, Sasuke REJECTED her since kids and cared for her as a FRIEND verbally and with actions yet she never “give up” and that is not cute or romantic that is just someone tryng and tryng, ignoring what she doesn’t want to hear and waiting for the one she does doesn’t matter how many times it takes.

Karin forced her feelings on Sasuke sometimes but she never get to the point of being crazy and keeping telling him how much she loved him.

If Karin forced her feelings on him then Sakura fucking did it too.

I remember some of Sakura’s moments being a pervert and obsessed fangirl with Sasuke too and SS fans choose to ignored it even when they don’t do it with Karin’s one.

Again. Hypocrite.

That there are those rooting for literally one of the biggest flaws of her character is just so weird to me. Sasusaku is a study in reverse development.

-Sakura is introduced as a fangirl who likes Sasuke for shallow reasons. -She is ignored by him outside of missions and deadly situations. -She changes her personality and agrees with things he says, constantly worrying over whether he thinks she is pretty enough, talented enough, or attractive enough to date. -At the end of the series she shows in her confession how she doesn’t really know or understand him. -Sakura, both in Part 1 and Part 2, continually proves that she is at her weakest around Sasuke and he brings out the worst in her. She reverts back into a fangirl, cannot stand up or speak up for herself, and loses all spine and dignity. -In her final big moment, she displays that she cannot handle Sasuke at his worst or his “darkness” when all she does is cry, call herself pathetic, and go on to leave everything to the boys and not even attempt to help despite this being the exact thing she said she didn’t want to do anymore. -Sakura is overall irrelevant to Sasuke. She is so far removed from Sakura’s character that nothing about his character arc or story would change if she never existed or some other girl were put on his team and she ultimately had no real influence or sway over him that has ever made any difference. Hell, even their child would be the same since Salad is a carbon copy of Karin complete with glases, her looks, and her mannerisms. -Sakura ends the manga stuttering and blushing like its chapter 3 again and she’s asking Sasuke if she can sit next to him, except this time she’s asking if she can come with him on his atonement trip (abandoning her family, other friends, ninja duties, and career) with no greater purpose than to be with him. When she is rejected she sulks like in Part 1. -Sakura never learns to stand or speak up for herself, she never squares up to fight him, never said anything of substance about him, and didn’t accomplish her goal of helping Naruto bring him back because her feelings, which are for all intents and purposes so baseless that their rationalization is “love doesn’t need a reason”, have made her weak. They have, throughout the story, done nothing for her but bring her down, make her feel like shit, went nowhere for years, and brought out the worst in her. -Sakura is rewarded and gets with Sasuke at some point after 699. -In the epilouge Sakura, our heroine, is on one page and has two lines. She is shown as a housewife at home dusting and talking about boys. She doesn’t even give any wise advice, make a joke or paralell, or say something profound or interesting. Just “Bolt again? O ”. -Sasuke hasn’t stopped traveling since 699 which was over 15 years ago at least and is so frequently absent for long periods of time that his daughter feels a kinship to another classmate because they both feel neglected by their fathers. This is reverse development. This is the opposite of what should have happened. I don’t care what you say, in no book of storytelling is this proper development toward anything in a character. If Kishi was going to make SS canon he could have at least made Sakura not be pathetic around him until the very final end. But he didn’t even do that. How was this a satisfactory ending for Sakura on any level? I mean, unless you were going for the shallowest core of her character, then I guess so. I don’t even like Sakura, yet some of these people who love her are bashing her harder than I can with their defenses.

I didn’t even mention everything.

The forehead poke is NOT positive and has never been.

It has always been used to create distance and followed by false promises.

Itachi himself acknowledged it.

When Itachi died for good, after Sasuke knew the truth, he did NOT poke his forehead. There was a lot of emphasis placed on this. Kishimoto made it look like Itachi was going to poke him but then he pushed their heads together, instead. The way he decided to drag out the process made you pay attention to Itachi’s movements and notice this difference. He made it a obvious as possible that the forehead poke was NOT something good and the goal should be to move beyond that point.

That being said…

Sasuke creates distance between himself and his “family”. He cannot keep his promises to them. They see it as positive because they don’t understand what it represents. There’s no reason that Sasuke would have taken that and completely changed the meaning, it’s used for the same reason. It’s not malicious but it shouldn’t be romanticized. Calling this is “ultimate expression of love” is just plain idiotic.

For some reason people seem to believe that because Sakura blushes it makes it a positive gesture, here are your reasons why it isn’t.

Okay, as I’m a civilized individual, I’m going to control myself and keep calm, but lately it’s been difficult to, since it has become impossible to tak with other Naruto fans unless you two ship the same couples, otherwise you might end up shooting each other. But today I came here to talk about hypocrisy and the lack of originality I’ve been seeing around with one of the most disgusting fandoms in Naruto.

NaruHinas are always ready to go around claiming their canon and worshipping The Last as if it was Kishimoto’s work and I came to the conclusion that either they are really blind or are just pretending to be! I don’t even want to imagine these guys taking an text interpretation exam! So they consider this movie so true and as something that officially proves that “Naruto to have loved Hinata all along and was too stupid to realize”.

First lets take a look at the first picture, Hinata has a red camellia on her hair and Naruto has one on his roubes. Camellias, in flower language, is a compromise for facing each sacrifice in the name of love. Red camellia is the flame of the heart.

Okay, let’s stop here, and then you ask me what’s the matter and what’s so wrong about this picture?

The red camellia had already been attributed to SasuNaru on a callendar/official image in which both Sasuke and Naruto are back to back, surrounded by red camellias and holding one in their hands each. A flower that has been attributed to them YEARS before it was given to naruhina.

But Naruto is a shounen mangá, it has no yaoi.

Naruto is shounen? Say that to whoever did that picture and released as official, it wasn’t me. It was given to us and I find really sad they latter gave it to such a lame bondless couple - note that I don’t consider The Lastimate as official, since even on Naruto Gaiden, Kishimoto ignored the childhood memories Naruto supposedly had of Hinata, as she as “his first everything”.

The second picture isn’t as close, I mean, Naruto and Hinata are close? Yes, but not the same way as Sasuke and Naruto on the other image, but as you can see, the atmostphere resembles quite a lot (dream like, both floating).

As if it wasn’t enough the gestures and objects representing Naruto and Sasuke, they copied the speech as well:

On the movie there’s some talk about bearing each other’s feelings untill death, what resembles obviously the chapters 485/486 in which Naruto says he bear Sasuke’s hate and die with him.

In other words: to make NH happen, they copied the SNS elements. And don’t even tell me it’s different just because they’re both men, let’s not be hypocrites, many of my male friends who don’t give a frick about yaoi admit the dynamic between Naruto and Sasuke goes far beyond mere friendship and brotherhood. If you think so, though, I’m gonna respect this.

“Pierrot, actually, made The Last movie replacing Sasuke with Hinata in every way: they made her a descendent of Kaguya (just like Sasuke and Naruto), made her as Naruto’s first friend, changed her chakra color from blue to purple (as is Sasuke’s), made them both using combined justu (like Naruto did with Sasuke at the war), used camellias on their wedding (as it was already used on an official SN picture) and, to close it with a blast, their first kiss was in front of the Moon. Who is the Moon? Hm.” - fan commentary.

Want more? Here we go: On the storyboard, Sasuke and Naruto originaly would first meet with Sasuke saving Naruto from bullies and Naruto would look at him blushing thinking to himself “how cool!” (or “how strong!”).

"I’ve seen a storyboard in which Kishimoto shows this. Naruto was initially going to be a Sasuke’s fanboy from the beginning, instead of having him as a rival right away, but the editors figured it would be better have them as rivals. Okay, but then Kishimoto fixed this his own way, eh? Because latter on they both admit that they have been secretly admiring each other since they’re kids and, just for the lols, right on their first ever “rival moment” it happens the kiss. In other words: SasukexNaruto was something (platonic or not) planned since the very beginning. It’s just a shame that the editors are using their dynamic to make NaruHina happen. I imagine they must be doing this to “cover up” the SNS and preserve the series without risk of losing readers.“ - fan commentary.

At the beginning of The Last, but also during flashbacks, the same thing happens: Naruto saves Hinata from bullies! What a coincidence, right? Very funny, that’s how she fell in love.

I wanna compliment NH for the originality on which they were made. They’re faker than genjutsu.

- The camellia picture has an official logo on the right corner;

- No seal, ‘cause I wasn’t the one who made the montages;

- Another shitty copy from the NH fandom, a badly edited version of the official cover of a chapter in which Naruto and Sasuke are using necklaces with each other’s face to be a NH/SS fanart.

I am always against spreading hate, but also against spreading ignorance. So here you have it, you are welcome.

So…didn’t anyone realize that Sasuke put the “We” in the sentence while he was fighting Madara? Sasuke, who is the “I’ll do it my way”, “Don’t interfere” and so on?

So who is the “we” in this sentence? Ninja Alliance? No way, he doesn’t care about them unlike Naruto, he’s just focused in killing the culprits of this whole war. Any of his current comrades? Maybe, after all, they are all together in pursuit of one goal, to eliminate Madara.

But I’m suspecting someone else. Someone who drove him to fight together, someone who made him join their forces, who kept saying “We’ll do this together”, who kept encouraging and reminded him of teamwork…:

And this is my ship everyone. Thank you for your time~~~<3
