A Star to Guide Me Part 6

“Dear Aslan,

As promised, I am writing you as soon as I could after landing. I miss you so much already, although to be quite honest, I missed you even before I got all the way on the plane. Thank you for making the last two weeks so wonderful.

Dr. Chernenkov came to pick me up which I thought was strange since it’s usually difficult getting him out of the clinic for any reason. He said he needed a break and volunteered. He can be so odd sometimes but at least I didn’t have to wait for hours like most do so that’s a plus.
