Reaching Happiness - Chapter 1

After dressing into the unpleasant black attire, Domon stared at himself in the mirror and frowned ā€“ barely recognizing the young man before him. He turned to the bed and picked up the last piece of material ā€“ the complementing red tie. However, no matter how many unsuccessful attempts he had while trying to loop it around his neck, it simply wouldnā€™t fasten properly. ā€œHere, let me.ā€ Domon didnā€™t even hear Rain coming down the steps as she carefully approached him with a gentle smile coloring her rosy lips. The Neo-Japan fighter almost stumbled backwards, unaccustomed to his partner wearing anything fancier than the usual pink dress and blue jacket. A black, velvet gown with stars of glitter adorned the young womanā€™s every curve, hugging tightly around her well-endowed chest and flowing gently past her hips like a waterfall. Her bony shoulders and dĆ©colletage were bare, and her brunette hair was fastened away from her face with a large, brown clip. Sparkly, teardrop earrings dangled from her earlobes, and a matching necklace hung low, dangling a few inches below her collarbone. She was the midnight sky, personified.
