Hello, my name is Miguel, I am a Brazilian bisexual transgender man, and I had to stop taking hormone replacement therapy since treatment is expensive + the psychiatrist at the clinic is transphobic and even though my name is changed, she is CONVINCED I will return to be a woman (?????) if I stop testosterone (here’s my tweet about it, with a translation to portuguese).

I’m scheduled to see a new doctor next month but with Brazil the way it is currently, full of protests against the president and yet a new variant of COVID, the medical appointments are being stretched months apart of each other because of it. I’ve been experiencing severe pain due to delayed periods because of this.

I am all out of medication, and having trouble sleeping/concentrating. I have so many ideas I want to draw, but I have no... will to do so, if that makes any sense. I really don't know how to describe it, sorry.

I just want to resume Testosterone, take care of my bipolarity and generally survive until my second shot on October (hopefully), then I can resume tattooing.

Also, my mother and older sister are threatening to get me involuntarily committed to a mental hospital because of this lack of drive (?). Mother keeps saying I need to react, but without my body functioning properly, how do I do that? here’s the post about it. please, please help! i don’t want to get committed!

OH MY GOD, THIS WILL HELP ME SO MUCH. I GET SO SCARED WHEN I DON’T KNOW IF I JUST TOOK MY MEDS TWICE.

Let me share with you guys a product that super helps me remember if I took my meds or not (because while the above is great, I still would manage to confuse myself):

They count as soon as you put the top back on. So if I don’t know if I’ve taken my medication for the day, I can check the cap to see how long ago I opened the container! It’s brilliant! 

JFC THIS IS A GAME CHANGER.
