“There he was,                 laid among dust and the remains of war, a sacred body desecrated, him, the star of his eternal galaxy.                                                                                           He rests now,                                                                                             Smiling,

For everything was beautiful and nothing hurt.”

C o n f u s i o n was obvious to read upon the Fool’s visage once the other mentioned how much she wanted to sleep; blinking and raising her eyebrows out of innocent, utter surprise, she couldn’t help but tilt her head to the side, wondering if she had misunderstood something or… Or maybe not. A soft sight slithered in-between roseate lips before they were curled upwards into a warm, friendly smile; the unknown girl couldn’t sleep there, therefore the least she could do was helping her to find a more comfortable and appropriate place where she could rest.

💕 — ❝ Sleeping on the street is dangerous - Someone might have hit you or even worse! This is why you can’t lie down here… But if you’re really that tired, why don’t you come to the dormitory with me? I’m willing to lend you my bed for a few hours, but only if you promise me to stop dozing off in dangerous, crowded places. ❞

“Wha...Oh. True,” she finally conceded with a tired grunt, and slowly got to her feet. She was a bit disoriented, as if someone had clobbered her on the head, but honestly she didn’t remember. Walking the streets really must’ve been dangerous, and she scratched and adjusted her hair, tucking it into the scarf meticulously.

Image

“Don’t mind if I take you up on that offer, though,” she dusted her clothes off with eyes half-lidded. If she began to ramble on, it would just be the lack of sleep talking and not her, something she’d be embarrassed of, much later. “Oh, m’name’s Reve...what’s yours?”

It’d be weird to borrow someone’s bed without knowing their name, completely ignoring the strangeness of taking someone’s bed...

“Um, do you think I can draw something based off of you?”

She felt like it would be rude not to ask before she drew something that would be similar to someone. What if they had somehow seen it and gotten mad at her? She didn’t want that to happen.

“O-Of course, you can say no if you want to, I just wanted to ask…”

Image

A little smile crawled onto her face at the question.

“Make me look cool, alright?” People feeding her ego was both a good and a bad thing. Too much and Reve would probably jump off a building to prove her infallible “coolness,” but too little and she’d mope in the corner of her room for a week. “S’no problem, draw as much as you like.”

Those distressing cries happen to be coming from her as she attempted to finish her math homework. This is ridiculous, she’s never had a problem with math before. Why do they even need to know this stuff? When will they use this stuff? It isn’t until she lifts her head up that she notices, oh… people are staring. Leaning back in her chair, she looks up at the ceiling, the wall, anywhere other than directly at the person before finally turning around to face them. “Heeey, you wanna do this for me?”

Image

Math? Math???? Reve absolutely detested math, and her expression deadpanned at the girl who tried to shove her homework onto her.

“Hell no,” she growled. “Do your own homework!” Then again, she wasn’t one to say that...a true hypocrite, she was. Always copying someone else’s work after lots of begging and pleading, that was her. And then she’d make it up in food, though, so it was an equal deal, right?

Ouch! That was too straightforward of her until he didn’t know how to react—although it was obvious that he should have been surprised by all means—but letting out a chortle instead. Trying his best to hide those flashy firearms was no use at all because … people could still set their gazes at them somehow.

Image

“Goodness! You got me pretty quick, Fräulein.” He confirmed after done with the chuckle. “That’s correct, but … don’t get me wrong, would you? I only exterminate those who are sinful and responsible for their fallibility. So, rest assured!”

Oh. He was rather blunt with agreeing with her bold accusation. But she was right, there was nothing she could say to deny that...

Image

“Huh. So, you’re like some kinda superhero? S’pretty cool, I guess. I wouldn’t have the balls to do somethin’ like that,” and she nodded her head a couple of times. Though, she was still wary. Everyone in their lives had done something bad, though she probably had nothing to worry about. She couldn’t die, anyway.

“Y’get paid for that? Bet you’re rich, huh?” Have some sensitivity, would you, Reve?

「 」 » “Hm? Oh that…” Fang’s expression became slightly off guard, before his oceanic gaze flickered down towards the sword strapped at his side. “It’s a fury. All fencers fight with one.” he glanced back upwards with a vaguely curious gaze.

“You mean you didn’t know? Man, you must be living out in the boonies then.” the brunette nonchalantly commented upon registering her appearance. From what it seems, she wasn’t from around Zelwinds City.

Image

“Well, I’ve no idea where the heck I am, honestly.” She just took a brief look around her, without recognition in her eyes. She would’ve been much more concerned, if it weren’t for the fact that she had seen weirder before. A light shrug and an unfazed expression later, she continued, “Wanna help me out a bit, tell me ‘bout your fury?”

Maybe that would solve something, but more likely that it wouldn’t. She was just curious.

“I love surprises~! I can’t wait to see what you have in store!,” At this point, Zoya was far more than happy. She was euphoric. Her joy only grew further as Revy took her hand within her own. With a small blush decorating her cheeks, the blonde smiled brightly at the other woman. “So, what have you been doing recently? It’s been a few weeks since we were able to see each other!” She spoke as she walked behind the raven, weaving through the crowd.

Image

“Me? Oh, just met with the quartet a bit, school work, found some more places to eat that’re good enough, you know, the usual. Pepper in some games,” she laughed, because it was so much easier to do so with Zoya; her presence just brightened her day, and made the flowers more vivid and the air crisper.

“How ‘bout you?” She was much more interested in the other woman’s activities. Much of what she did was mysterious, and honestly, she wanted to know more about her.

Vivek proceeds to click his tongue in annoyance. Why was she being so difficult? He had almost been tempted to get revenge right then and there, if it weren’t for the troubling circumstances he found himself in. No, HE DID NOT want her to tell those aforementioned friends what happened.

“How about I give you a manly piggy back                                                              ride around the park for you to keep quiet?”

At this point, he was simply being desperate.                                                                     After all, Vivek had a manly reputation to keep.

Image

“Y’sure you can carry me?” She’s actually delighted by the proposition, though it doesn’t show on her face. No, she wouldn’t let a complete stranger know how much of a kid she was, not this soon. Though, the second she would be on his back, she’d act like a koala, if he could carry her for that long. She pats her stomach through her sweater. “Got a lot’a weight from eatin’ earlier.”

Honestly, she wants to go for more--there’s a nice place downtown for milk tea, but she’s trying to cut down because of the realization that her stomach has become rather soft and pillowy...

Hearing the unexpected but cute laughter coming from the other girl was rather confusing. Is there something wrong with her? Chiharu couldn’t help but to start smoothing her hair and looking down to see if there’s something wrong with what she was wearing, but she couldn’t find anything out of place.

Umm, is there something wrong?

Image

“I told’ja before, didn’t I?”

A good-natured smile surfaced on her face, her eyes oddly soft this turn. She was a completely different person that before, though it was really just her expression that changed. At seeing her frantic once-over of her appearance, Reve reached over to pat the other female on the back.

“You’re just really cute, s’all. Can’t believe you’re older than me.”

It was at this point that he nervously averted her gaze as his cheeks grew an even darker pink hue. So much for being manly. “I didn’t mean to look it…! I was just typing in facebook but was in such a rush, that it just redirected me to a site called fuckbook instead.” Vivek hurriedly explained, which honestly, was true. Even when he furiously tapped the backspace button, it was no use at all.

Things just happened on its own.

Even if he did admit to looking at porn sites previously, Vivek would much rather look at adult material in a far secluded manner. In other words, a closet pervert“Do me a favor and just keep this between us, alright, Miss Slick?” he eventually utters out, upon trying to keep his cool, even after being humiliated.

Image

“Huh, ‘s that true?” She didn’t really believe it and the skepticism was, oh, so apparent in her voice. Languidly resting a hand against her neck and leaning her head slightly, Reve teased him, “Don’t mind me, I’ll be telling some of my friends ‘bout you. No names, so no problem.”

Well, whatever she said, she didn’t mean at all. Just, teasing the male was rather fun, watching his cheeks redden under her “innocent” torment.

“A Museum? Hah! It is with a heavy heart that I may inform thee that thou art incorrect!” He told her triumphantly, hand against his chest. Reve was quite a girl. Sure the Asianic lady was quite stern and frank in many regards, but he could not deny the friendship the two of them shared. “Today, we are to seek the Penguindrum of Dumais in the Chasm of Knowledge! Hither to, Rev-rev!” He raised his hand in jubilation, forward as though with saber in hand he called for a charge.
Image
On their way there, of course, Johnathan continued to hum a valiant tune, much like a marching band’s theme did he whistle. “So! How fares thy day, Rev-rev?” He asked curiously. “Hast thou finished he edict of Professor Winslow? A whole 700 words!” Of course, translated, he was talking about the essay they had to do.

“Yes, yes, whatever you say,” she sighed, though with an exasperated smile on her face. This guy was really a handful (and she always felt like she was done running a marathon after hanging with him), but he was a good person at heart. At least, she hadn’t seen anything particularly b a d about him.

“Huh? Oh, it’s okay,” but at the mention of the essay from Professor Winslow, she let out an elongated groan of despair and frustration. “I never finish it until the day before...Ugh, you know that, don’t remind me.” She threw a light punch at his shoulder, one that definitely could not even hurt a fly.
