The smile remained on William. He liked this guy so far. He wasn’t doing the normal ‘adult’ snobby thing about his comments. He got two points. “You’ve never seen Game of Thrones?” he asked with a joking disbelief. “It was a pretty popular TV show in what I call the ‘normal’ human realm, though, I guess that’s a little worldist. It’s the world I grew up in before I came here.”
Wil paused. “Wait, Wonderland? You mean like with Alice and the Rabbit thing?” Curiously, Wil leaned against the tree. That was real? He guessed it was. Why not? Not like his ideas of other worlds hadn’t gotten blown away years ago. He did travel between a few himself. “Why would someone from Wonderland want to ask the Wizard of Oz for something? Don’t you have magic in your land?”
So many strange words. Jefferson prided himself on being well travelled but, he supposed he hadn’t quite gone far enough in his journey so far with the hat. His normal human realm didn’t have anything called a TV. Unless it was just too rich for his blood.
He lifted up his hat to draw attention to it. “Wonderland’s as real as wherever this is. And the Rabbit if you mean the white one is high strung and hard to get along with. Alice... Alice is...” He trailed off looking for the right word while his cheeks flushed red. “She’s the fairest woman in all the land. Well, when she’s around.” Okay now he was getting off topic, a child probably didn’t want to hear about his silly infatuation with Wonderland’s heroine.
“Oz has different magic. It works differently than Wonderland or the Enchanted Forest.”

“Okay, .. wait, wait, wait….” Wil held out his hand as to dramatically pause him as he giggled with a smile. “Auradon! No, no, um… Narnia! No, too human and you definitely don’t look like one of those kids. Westeria! That’s it. Game of Thrones! Aren’t you the guy who lost his nuts?” Wil grinned totally being obnoxious on purpose and totally laughing over it like a crazy kid on the shores of Neverland.
“Okay, okay.. but I’ve got to be a least a little close, right? Why are you going to Oz?”
Lost his... nuts? Jefferson instinctively looked down at his leather slacks and cringed. What a cruel and unusual punishment. He noted quietly in the back of his head never to go to Westeria. “What’s a Game of Thrones? I come from Wonderland.” Not that that was important.
“Why does anyone go to Oz? I need something from the Wizard.”

Do you ever just love the character you write so much? Like I like all the ones I write but I have two that mean so much to me. It just hit me a few minutes ago. Jefferson looked around, eyes narrowing as he tried to get his wits about him. Sometimes all that portal jumping really made him sick to his stomach. “Yes actually… Where am I?”
A small smile gleamed just a hint across William’s face. It was always fun when some random person happened to find themselves accidentally in Neverland, especially an adult. He was feeling generous, though. “Ever heard of the second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning?”
Second star to the right? It was ringing a faint bell in his head but, he couldn’t quite remember where he’d heard it before. He’d been to so many lands he couldn’t possibly remember each one. Maybe the ringing was just the nausea he was still feeling. Rumpelstiltskin really needed to give him better instruction on how to land. Slowly, he took his hands off his knees and stood up straight, warding off the sensation to hurl. “Well, this definitely isn’t where I meant to be. Unless you happen to be a stopping point to Oz.”
"It's priest, have a little priest. Sir it's to good at least! Then again they don't commit sins of the flesh, so it's pretty fresh"
