“Hardly beatin’ me’self up, chère. Gambit just should stop lettin’ ya in’ta me head. God knows what else ya could’a been plannin’.” He gave a small shake of his head, replacing the glass once more and settling into the couch. “So, what else might ya have thought out fo’ me? We gonna fool around som’ more?” He felt his lips curl into another smirk but it quickly faded, his crimson gaze leaving Emma’s once more.
She followed his hand as it deposited the glass on the table. Then the whole tray disappeared along with it.“You do understand me marvelously in that respect. Always scheming.” His eyes had left her’s so she addressed the wall beyond him. “But if you want to play more, it’s time for your game. And I’ll be your willing participant.” This, too, was a scheme, Emma reminded herself. But it wasn’t a terribly harmful scheme. She was only curious was he would do. Was would he do? What kind of man was this?

some basic: i redesigned emma’s outfit! I’ve never liked her character or hardly even read about her but her outfits have always pissed me off regardless and I wanted to fix this so i could personally approve of her! Now she has pants and a bulky jacket with zips and buckles and a belt and shoes that don’t match and i pasted twenty five X’s all over the entire look! now she looks GOOD and sexism is OVER!

Sometimes people ask if First Class Emma annoys me. Personally I love her, think she's pretty well in character. I'm more annoyed that DOFP murdered her off-screen rather than give her a character arc...just saying...
