listen up folks of tumblr - i’m desperate. 

i have to turn in a major science project for school on monday (march 7th) and a variety of things have gone wrong with my current project, leaving me little to no time to collect data. i figured that just wasn’t going to work out considering the current lack of progress, then i remembered something i’d seen on tumblr. maybe you’ve seen it - someone’s sibling was collecting a survey for a project that required a variety of details from each person who saw it on tumblr. i’m asking you to do the same for this post

I’m sick of having to say “my friend” when I talk about my girlfriend. I’m sick of having to censor myself because of the threat of violence or punishment. Straight people get annoyed at us “shoving our gayness” in their faces yet most of us can’t even say something like “oh yeah my girlfriend and I went to the movies yesterday” like they get to 24/7 without risking our lives, jobs and friends. They will literally never understand what that’s like and how suffocating it is, yet they still claim that it goes both ways.
