OH MY GOD! Houko Kuwashima will be voicing Feng Xian, Maomao's mom. Houko Kuwashima is the voice actress who voiced the heroine of Saiunkoku Monogatari, Kou Shuurei!!! Why it matters to me??? WELL, I LOVE SAIUNKOKU AND KUSURIYA ALWAYS REMINDS ME OF THAT SERIES! Its like she's passing the torch to Maomao to be the next great heroine of the story inspired by Chinese aesthetics and culture!!

Hello hello - WN refers to the webnovel, the original light novel (LN) author's...shall we say initial? drafts over on the Japanese self-pub website Shosetsuka ni Narou. Think something like Japanese Wattpad (maybe??).
