My birthday was on January 13

He died on the 14th

He was my favorite character

He was my beloved actor

“I have always loved Severus Snape. I have always been drawn to ‘awkward’ characters. Characters so complex and dynamic. Cold. Stern. Withdrawn. Detached. Prejudiced. Villainous.  Antagonistic. Lonely. Grieving. Misunderstood.

Severus was the epitome of all those characters I’ve loved before. He was the closest to the ideal. Ideal what? I do not know exactly. Ideal villain-turned-hero character-Im-drawn-into-so-much, I guess. I like siding to someone nobody sides with. Standing up for someone, nobody stands up for.

We were both Capricorns, you know (Jan 13 & Jan 9). Maybe that’s why we’re a li’t bit same. so I guess, at some point I see myself in him. #Relate How everybody believes you’re so evil and incapable of feeling and doing something good. When deep inside, all you wanted was to help. You just don’t know how to express it - the right, acceptable, way.

That heroes can hide and be found in the least expected places.

Alan Rickman was someone I’ve watched when I was a kid. He was a terrorist, a villain. With a great voice. tone, register, resonance - that deep and thick voice which put me in awe. Right then and there, I knew - I knew, this is going to be the one of the greatest voice I’m ever gonna hear. and it became my standard. 

Then one time, I was shocked as I remembered he was that terrorist! and he is Snape! 

He was a great actor who loves the art of acting. The dynamics and complexities of it.He loves traditional and classical, the old form of theatre. He was good at plays and even broadways. We’re Shakespeareans. Born complicated, I guess.

So to Alan Rickman, who breathed life to JK Rowling’s Severus Snape. *Cheers *Salute *Wand Raised
