FOR AS LONG AS DREAM CAN REMEMBER, everyone's always held a grudge against him. Be it something small like a stolen pickaxe, or something crucial like killing everyone by destroying nations. No matter how big or small, it's all sparked anger towards the blond.

Everyone's hated Dream at least once in their lives, even if they still hate him now or they forgot about him the next day.

He finds it funny when people are angry at him. When their faces heat up in rage, and they bare their teeth towards him, as if that will make him shake in his boots or something. It does the complete opposite, actually, and he ends up grinning at their red faces.

Soulmates or not, no one can ever hurt him. He's born to be a god, and gods are untouchable.

He's untouchable, but he can mess with the mortals, he supposes.

But you? He finds it strange how you're the one he's provoked the most, yet you've never even bat a single eyelash at him.

At first, he thought it annoyed him. Why the hell aren't you doing anything? All humans are conditioned to feel intense emotions when provoked, whether it's anger or anguish—and some might say that they feel apathetic towards petty insults, but deep down, they felt something—

Now after years of finally being happy and just minutes before walking down the isle, their ex lover comes back to put their world upside down, begging for them to not say I do.
