I want to suggest Twinbroshipping for Yuya x Yuto x Yugo, because Yugo and Yuto look like Yuya and they're both "pieces" of Yuya.
Considering that 'twins' involves two people rather than three, that they're not brothers, and that I can't find any source for the 'them being pieces of Yuuya' logic even looking at translations, I'm going to go ahead and reject this unless other people are invested in it as a name too.

What was that "double suggestions" poll about? I read the post but I don't completely understand it. Is it something like "if a ship name didn't win and it has more posts in its tag it becomes official?"
It was about whether two ships could have the same name on their suggestion list (AkaShun and ShunSora both had EnemyShipping suggested for them, for example) at the same time.

I don't post the votes, but I do post the percentages! If enough people want to know the specifics I could start posting those too, though.

Following the poll about double suggestions/alternate portmanteau tags, the blog will be accepting double suggestions, and fanwork in alternate portmanteau tags will be accepted. However, some things in alternate tags might not get caught, so please drop a line if it looks like something has been missed!
I'm also taking in mod applications, mostly for things like checking ship tags and helping to prepare weekly updates; please apply here if you're interested!

Hello, can I suggest Huntshipping for ShunSora? Huntshipping because they hunt each other and insist that they are the one who hunt the other one.
HuntShipping is Astral x Kaito so no, it won't be accepted as a suggestion.
Votes for ship names begin on Mondays - as stated in the sidebar - and I check the tags for fanwork on Mondays before making the announcement. Asks about voting for a ship before that will be ignored.

Yes, it does. Fanwork includes pretty much any kind of work you can produce as a fan (art, fic, AMVs, hell things like couple cosplay would probably count when it comes down to it). That's why 'fanwork' is used, rather than just 'fanart'.

Okay ;-; but still.... There are very few actual art posts in the tag (5 artworks). Is it really too late? There can't be a special announcement for re-voting or anything?? I'll stop asking so much now ;_;
Renaming the ship now with no outright reason - because you might not like it, but others clearly did or it wouldn't have been voted in - sets a precedent for renaming that I really don't want to. The changes of finding a ship name that the entire fandom likes are miniscule, so if I open things up like this then I open the list up to a lot more 'can we change this? can we revote on this?' asks, and potentially having to run repeated votes for various ships, which gets complicated and confusing - particularly as this blog is run entirely by one person.
There are names on the list that I don't like either. That is the downside of being a fandom that uses ship names - there will always be names that you don't like, or that you think something else would fit better for.
You're welcome to tag things however you like, and there's nothing I or anyone else can do to stop you, but the official name will be staying as TrashbagShipping.

Basically, yes. Ships will only be renamed with very good reason - we're talking things like 'the first name turned out to be something offensive that nobody caught before'.
Changing ship names spreads out fanworks further and makes things harder to find, because some people will choose to use the old name and some will use the new name, and not all of those people will cross-tag. It would mean having to keep track of old names for a ship anyway (or else make older fanwork inaccessible to newer fans who don't know the old name), so ships would functionally end up with multiple -shipping names as well as the portmanteau name for them.
As I said before; TrashbagShipping was voted for by the fandom back in early September - I'm sorry for you if you don't like the name, but it was voted in and has been in place for months now with no complaints, and there were no complaints before it was named. Unless you can provide very good reason that it ought to be changed, it will be staying as it is.
