Sage & Lavender
Calm the spirit and cleanse the senses.
Lately I’ve started making my own dried sage bundles. It’s easier than you think and is far time we stop pouring money into these mega companies that perpetually overcharge for mother natures goods!
Are you familiar with the abundant nutrients in rose petals? Rosewater is one the most amazing ingredients you can add to your beauty routines. Cleopatra was said to use it religiously and for centuries it has been a staple medicinal ingredient around the world. Making rose water yourself is also remarkably easy.
Beneficial for skin, hair and nails in many ways… Hydrating, moisturizing, revitalizing, nourishing and strengthening every cell it comes in contact with! A definite staple for fighting acne, dandruff, aging skin, eczema, darks circles under eyes, dry skin and various forms of dermatitis!
It helps tone the skin with powerful antioxidants and antibacterial properties. Healing scars, cuts & wounds better than pharmaceutical ointments of any kind!
These roses are from my great grandmothers funeral. Instead of allowing them to shrivel up and embark on the next phase of life, I utilized them in symbolic yet sustainable way. ❤️
Add petals to warm water and allow them to soak overnight. Voila! You can even make a rose tea and grind the petals up!
Talk about your joys. Flaunt them. Sing their praise before your problems| ❤️💛💚 So grateful for Jah blessings. My two Kings #likefatherlikeson #fatherandson #king #queen #lion #lioness #wombman #blackfamily #blackfamilies #blacklove by rastawombman https://instagram.com/p/7BgEIPrfDE/

After two years of sharing so much knowledge and wisdom on my blog, I decided to throw in the towel. Since then, I've been touched by those who I've inspired along the way. They want the blog back! I'm back! Spreading knowledge & love ...

Sangria Saturdays!
Mother Natures little marvels. This is my favorite way to slice apples. My mom used to prepare them this way. She was crafty and allowed us to paint the apples and stamp them on construction paper!
Ah. Childhood was good.
Adult hood is better… There’s wine, sex and seafood.
