“Choosing Day” from rangers apprentice
Guys! It’s been a while! Obviously re-read RA during lockdown and I’ve missed you all and this Tumblr so much actually! Please if you’re a RA blog and I don’t follow you lmk and I will! x
Baron Aarld knew about Will’s ‘situation’….
…Which meant that Halt had to tell him. And because Will was a newborn Halt probably wouldn’t want to leave him alone for very long. That means that logically we can assume baby Will was with Halt when he explained to Aarld. Imagine how that went down.
Baron Aarld sitting in his sitting room starting at the shadowy figure, who’s hunched over shhh-ing the small bundle in his arms
“Oh, this is bad,” he murmured under his breath. “This is very bad. You… you have a kid. Since when have you had a kid?” His voice raised an octave or two. “Who did you even have a kid with.” Halt glared at the baron.
“He’s not my kid, he’s…”
“You kidnaped a kid!” The baron demeaned.
“No, I did not kidnap a kid. He was given to me.”
“Who in their right mind would give you their kid?”
its a good thing there’s no ranger around to snoop about in these illegal activities, just this nice innocuous jongleur
Rangers was a dear part of my childhood, i actually started to drink coffee because of the book and later decided to train archery and blades.Just recently i started to use tumblr and i managed to find it still inspire other people. :)

I’ve seen a few posts going around lately with all the pretty book maps and decided to do my own with some of my favorites because who doesn’t love book maps?
The maps are from Ranger’s Apprentice, The Lord of the Rings, Six of Crows, The Kingkiller Chronicle, The Queen’s Thief series, Inkheart, The Books of Bayern, The Eagle of the Ninth, The Princess Bride, A Song of Ice and Fire, and The Inheritance Cycle.
