“Bonney, I swear, I will cut you! Turn me back and we’ll forget about this!”

“Fine, your no fun, ya know that, right?” She asked, snapping her fingers and turning her to normal.

Pulling around on her clothes to make sure everything sat in place. “I am fun, if you don’t mess with my body. Would you want me to impale you with a knife?”

“Bartolomeo, what the fuck is wrong with you? You can’t just say dying is cool cause I died for senpai. Think of me, think of Cavendish. Think of anyone you ever meant something to. Do you still think dying for the strawhat would be okay?”

Not getting out a word by such strong arguments the woman stood there like paralysed before biting her lower lip hard. “Since when you´re that delicate, Kid ? Didn´t know that ?”

Shivering softly some tears dripped down her cheeks. “Great work, sis.” Giving her sister a sad smile Meo wiped over her eyes.

Sighing deeply Kid stepped closer and pulled her in  a hug, only for a moment before she pulled away and wiped the tear off her cheek. “I’m not delicated, I am worried. And if people know I worry about you they will start to attack you in order to get me to become uncareful.”

“Watch your step and you’ll let it slide? Who are you, my mum? You’ve been a pirate, Shanks, you know damn well how little I care at the moment.”

“Well, alright then! You come on back if you ever want to try again or have a drink!”

[A] laugh came from lips twisted into all too cocky smirk. The infamous ‘Captain’ Kid– wrong? He knew who he was, though she seemed dead set on telling him otherwise.                                “ [L]ook lady, I don’t have the foggiest idea who you are.”

[S]he did look similar to him, he’d give her that. Though that just seemed to be the problem. He prided himself on the way he looked, right down to the painted nails. 

               “ [A]nd though it’s quite flattering that you copied me– don’t.”

Thin, almost non existant eyebrows furrowed in anger. Was he mocking her? Did he come here, dressed the same way she was, hair almost the same, everything, down to the bloody lipstick -to tell her not to copy him? She took a deep breath, though her eyes spit fire, and when she spoke it was obvious how hard she tried to keep her voice calm.

“Copy you? I told you, dead wrong, bro. I am an original, I ain’t copy no one. Must be you who got... inspired.”

He felt the cold water splashing against his face, wetting also his hair and cloth “The fuck! What was that even for?!” the redhaired yelled back with an angry expression.

“You know very well what this had been for!” Yelling she squeezed the glas in her hand until it exploded, spliters scattering everywhere. “That’s my fucking lipstick!”

Edan studied the pawns in front of him, trying to decide what to do with them. For a game based on strategy, he relied a little too much on luck, but somehow it seemed to worked in his favor every once in a while and that was enough for him.

He couldn’t help but wonder how he dragged into this game of all things. Nevertheless, his opponent was waiting so he finally settled on a move.

“I wouldn’t let my guard down if I were you. Your move.”

Kid nodded slowly, watching. Her strategy was, like on battle fields, quick and simple. Go in with your best strenght and  smash everything in your way. Sadly, this didn’t apply to chess and Kid found herself brooding over her figures.

Tilting her head slightly to the side she went confident for one figure, though slowed down halfway, startled by his words. A bluff she told herself, and made her move.

“Oh, I am not, no worries. Your turn.”

“If we always considered what some crazy yonko would do, we’d never do anything.”

“You cast the first stone, and look at what happened. Watch your step more closely from now on, and I’ll let this slide.”
