“A Day and a Place” I haven't gone back to shooting yet. Back in the beginning, we never used our living room and never put furniture in it because of that. The only times we ever found ourselves down there were for large projects or to hangout with the mow while she sunbathed by the window. This is also part of how I learned photography, while we'd be playing around, we'd also just take photos for fun or because the mow was doing something cute, this was one such photo. Most of these never got edited because they were just fun memories with no real intention of becoming anything serious. This morning I decided I wanted to put out a photo that hadn't been seen before, intending to edit something from one of my many photo shoots, but came across this. I like how it lets me put out something new while also being something personal. It's been about 5 years since it was taken, and while I'm sure I liked it back then, I would never have been able to turn it into what I have now. I feel like when I edit, I just flow, I don't follow a necessary process but instead believe certain photos want to be edited a certain way, and this one wasn't ready back then. On a separate note, I'm making a statement here. I believe I've spoken volumes through this image.
