And the madness starts... hahahahaha. Off to make a few thousand for the fuzz butts to play in. My ferret account is now @dailyfriendlyferret. Use to be @foreverfriendlyferrets, but I needed a primary account to link it to my instagram instead of a sub-blog. :)
Due to some changes, I will be posting my ferret pictures to the new tumblr dailyfriendlyferret. They will go up more regularly and most likely be cross posted from instagram. :) I may close this side blog down soon as I doubt I'll post here much anymore.

I am crazy thankful for every moment I have to enjoy these little critters. They drive me crazy sometimes, but the happy moments outweigh the work ten fold. Also thankful for the new camera (early Christmas present) because holy cow are my photos even better now. :D

Jacks. The newest member of my business of ferrets. His counterpart passed away from cancer and his owner asked if i would take him so he could have friends to enjoy. Slinky is a little too rough playing so far, but peakaboo loves him immensely. He gets his own cage for now, but joint playtime every night, with supervision. Picture doesn't do his size justice, he's a very large boy.

I have not kept this blog updated at all. Oh well.
My babies are living with me now! After talking with our landlords about the possibility of staying a couple more years, they agreed that we could turn the guestroom into a ferret room! We have some very specific condtions in which this was possible including that they can only be out of their cages when people are physically in the room, but so far they’re loving it here. We tend to play with them everyday until they put themselves to bed anyway. :)
It’s fantastic. I need to post new pictures soon. I have a stash of them around here somewhere. :D
The results of receiving my ferret secret Santa. Sorry my pictures are so late. ^^; Thank you Mustelaputoriusfuro!!! My babies love their Christmas toys.
The fuzzes loved them.The last picture is Slinky running off with her new favorite golf ball to stash it in my shoe.
They also really loved the box. I've been using it as a toy box each day filling it with the toys I can find around the room before letting them out of their cage.
yay! I can't wait to see what you made/bought. Do you sell your stuff? Do you have any tips? I try to make bedding for their cage but I can't cut a straight line so it never fits :( I have to wait for my mom to do it but she is so busy. I have so many sewing things that I want to make for them.
Aw. :) Thanks. My ferret blog is foreverfriendlyferrets on tumblr. I have just a couple pictures up but you can see a tiny bit of what I have made in the past. The yellow and blue striped stuff was bought though. :) Anything pink was made by me.
I do not currently sell any of it, but if people are interested I could possibly do a couple of random giveaways for a couple hammocks or something.
As far as tips go… measure twice, cut once. Also, none of my lines are straight. They are eyeballed most of the time and the ferrets really could care less so I don’t care. XD Probably why I don’t sell them yet.
I use cheap metal shower curtain hangers and webbing strands from the fabric store sewn into the corners to suspend them. I try to make sure that I go over seams that will get wear and tear a couple of times, especially corners and where the webbing connects (often the same place).
Also, the more time you spend making, the better you get. :) My mom taught me a little sewing and I’ve just kept at it until I end up with the result I want. Never perfect, but good enough. :D
If you want super easy and cheap though, no-pill fleece is fantastic at not fraying and you can make items the same way one could make no-sew blankets. Two layers with strips cut along the side and knotted.
