Im done pleasing you, impressing you, getting worried over what your opinion would be. Im tired. And done. And over. Im certain how at some point you might think im funny, but screw it, so what. Think what you want to think. Do what you gotta do. But whatever it is, leave me out of it. I dont want it. If im not getting you all in it, i dont want it.
I really should be more careful around you, but it’s hard when I feel so comfortable around you. It’s like someone turned the butterflies into drugs.
I can’t decide if I’d rather go back in time and relive our good memories or pretend that they never existed at all. I guess I do both.
I still care about you a lot, and I’d be a liar if I said that I don’t miss you, but I just don’t know if you’re what I want anymore. Maybe you still are, but maybe I’m still just a sucker that can’t figure out how to let things go.

He looked at me and smiled. It was raining. He said he would come back to me if I kissed him and he felt the same way he did as before. I kissed him slowly and then backed away. I looked at his lips and then to his eyes. He had sadness in his eyes and longing. He yanked me towards his chest and we kissed. He wouldn’t let me go and he held me in the pouring rain as he cried. Then I woke up.
I remember all those late night phone calls and how you sing to me and how I speak so low because I do not want anyone to know that I was still awake. I remember all those things that happened but that’s over now. Everything about you and me are just memories that I could still reminisce but never do again. I still remember everything about us because that’s the only thing I can do: remember it.

Why are they judging other people? Is it because they are doing different things besides what others normally do? Is it because they do not pass the standards of being a civilized human being in our community? If these are the reasons, it’s better to just keep their mouth shut and their thoughts to their heads. People should do what makes them happy and be themselves without getting judged. A famous quote states; “They tell you to be yourself and then they judge you afterwards.” That’s where society went wrong. They butt in on other people’s life even without knowing the path that they walked on. They tell other people harmful things just because of what they obviously see on the outside. Thing is, they shouldn’t judge other people in the first place.
We have our own lives to take care of, don’t worry about other’s lives and don’t tell them what to do. Just live your life the way you think it’s supposed to. Step out, stand up for what you believe in and go to where you are happiest. It’s your life, you’re the one who’s holding the wheel.
You can not just generalize guys, you know. There are people who don’t give a damn on a girl’s looks. There are people who won’t care if ever you wear accessories or not or all those things. There are people who are after the personality other than the physical features of a girl or rather a human being. Just because you know other guys whose perspective of beauty depends on the physical aspect doesn’t mean every other guy who exists in this planet is also the same. You can’t just keep on judging any guy based on the your observations or experiences to some of them.

Of course, there was some sense of hate after the breakup. It’s normal bcos you wouldn’t think that the person you loved so much would ever hurt you. But as time passed by, I’d realised that everything is played by destiny. We’re just not fated to be together. Slowly but surely, you will let go of the hate 😊
