CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS.

Levi was the one person who noticed that something was remotely wrong with Eren, while everybody else was busy celebrating (as they should be since they literally just discovered a groundbreaking weapon for killing titans). But Levi was so in tune with Eren that, no matter what was happening, he knew immediately that Eren wasn’t okay. And that look on his face, look at it, how sad he is when Eren just brushes it off as merely being tired, and continues to look sad even onto the next scene with all the officials. I dare anyone who, for some reason or another, still doubts the amount of genuine care and respect Levi holds for Eren.

This chapter was really heavy for me, and my heart just broke because Eren has gone through so much and continues to go through so much. He just looks so sad and tired and broken the entire chapter, an empty shell, a shadow of his previous fiery ball of anger self, and you can barely recognize him as the character we’ve come to know (and love). He is so mellowed out, his eyes no longer carrying their usual vigour, always spaced out, and when the memory of his father being eaten by him came on, I just about bawled because you can see how much pain and guilt he’s still carrying, at that young age, and he still feels responsible for saving everyone, even at the cost of his own life - not because it’s heroic, but because he genuinely believes that his life isn’t important enough. And that’s what’s really most heartbreaking - his inability to see his own worth to care for his wellbeing, and his perceived expendability, when it really couldn’t be further from the truth.

A mafia au thing I’ve been working on in-between my personal work. The plot is to much for me to type. So I won’t. Just know Levi is a mafia boss, and Eren is the vigilante he is seeking after.

Meeting the parents

Grisha: So. Apart from ruining my son's life, what do you do?
Eren: Dad!
Carla: Who wants more tea?
Levi: ...I'm sorry I took your son's virginity. It won't happen again.
