"Who I am hardly matters.
At least, not yet.”
Another step, though this one crackled a bit less than the previous. For a moment, the figure ceased his heavy vibrations. He realized this immediately however, and quickly shifted his postured, holding up the power cell for her to see. Keep her attention where he needed it to be. "Our fates, as loosely as they may be, are intertwined. As far as thorns go, you’ve rather effectively embedded yourself into my side on more than one occasion." It was one of the few things she did excel at. "But, if you want to figure out what that means, then you’re going to have to catch me, Alexandra." He turned away, just a bit, kicking his heel on the ground as his body began to vibrate once more. Again, he held up the battery.
"Regardless of what you choose to do, however, your only hope of repairing that machine lies with me. I’d hop to it if I were you.
Before I send your kingdom crumbling down.”
At this, the figure began to vibrate with such a ferocity that the pocket dimension itself began to fluctuate in such a way that created rifts in the dimensions. Holes leading out into the depths of space began to appear within the cathedral, and as such, the connection that this plane of existence had with it was starting to sever. It was becoming very clear that if he was left here much longer, there wouldn’t be a pocket dimension to save.
Which was exactly the point.
Alexandra. There was that name again. This man came in and called the names of ghosts and shattered everything around him. The girl felt frustration rising quickly, the urge to snap and correct him biting at her thoughts. But the dimension was crumbling like a glass case. The electricity that followed this man had caught on in the atmosphere, setting the sky ablaze with lightning and and flashes, and the bride could practically feel the sparks. "You’re destroying everything!” She fumed. The ground had begun to tremor again, the marble floor beginning to crack beneath them as they spoke. The danger was only intensifying as the man spoke, and the bride could feel it in every bone of her body.
The skies begged for her to eliminate this threat. She felt her dimension snapping and bending, a fierce pain that she hadn’t felt in years. But she couldn’t get rid of him. Not yet. Not if he was taking her home. "Cut off your electricity, before you kill us both!" "Stop, or I'll make you stop!"

Watching where her line of sight took her, the figure very briefly regarded the item in his hand. The primary mechanism used to power the machine. Of course he knew what it was, it was one of the two reasons why he was here, after all. This entire trip would have been a waste of time, otherwise. And a waste of speed.
The second reason, however… "I’m here to take you home," the figure said, body crackling wildly even as the dimension continued to twist and distort around him. Speaking of speed usage, he would need to keep control of the conversation while they were here. Too much wasted time and the both of them might end up in trouble. So, yes, blunt statements would have to do. However, that alone was not going to allow him safe passage from this dimension. "Whether or not I get you there alive, however, is of little consequence." One single step was taken forward, and with it, the entire cathedral seemed to creak and moan with how much intense pressure was being put on it from all directions. His presence was doing awful things to the entire pocket dimension. "I have what I need. What is it that you need, Chuffy?”
Another step forward. Another ungodly noise reverberated from within the confines of the church. A breaking point was going to be reached soon, he was sure of it.
The Bride could feel her dimension screaming. Whoever this intruder was, he was laying waste to her dimension. Over three years of strong power and defence were crumbling beneath his presence, and yet there he stood, with the nerve to speak in riddles. "Take me home...?" The girl narrowed her eyes, adrenaline beginning to rush through her body. Her first instinct was to have this man dead. Every fibre of her being demanded that she eliminate the threat, after so much time of paranoia and battles. But this was no ordinary threat. The moment the intruder stepped forward, so did she. "What are you talking about?!" "Explain yourself! Tell me who you are!" "How do you know me?!"

You are now the Condescending and Vague Asshole. And you never really were fond of Second Person Storytelling. Within the depths of Cathedral stood the strange visitor, body pulsing with an intensity that shook the very fabrics of space and time around them. It was as if, just by simply existing in this pocket of space, that they were ripping it apart at the seams. This was half-true, to be certain.
But the girl, her hold was strong. Godly, one might say. That said, her power was not insurmountable. For now, however, it was serving a very important purpose.
The moment she came crashing through the doors leading into the altar, however, he did not run. He did not zip away, to continue this futile chase. That was a waste of speed, a waste he simply could not afford at this stage of the process. No, he had already cast out his line, he just needed her to bite onto the hook. She wouldn’t attack yet anyway. She couldn’t take that risk, could she? "You kept me waiting," he said, voice distorted simply by the vibrations emitting from his body. "It’s been a long time since our last encounter…"
"!!!"
'Alexandra'.
The name rang through the cathedral, every word exchanged amplified in echo. That name in particular was one that nobody should have known.
That name belonged to somebody who simply didn't exist anymore. Somebody who was on Earth, before it ceased to be.
Confusion came crashing down upon the bride. The pocket dimension quivered under the shock. It struggled to recover from the blow it had taken, the skies above shifting colours at unbelievable paces.
But it didn't matter. This intruder knew her.
This man must have been on Earth. For a moment, hope spread through her. Somebody who could help her. Somebody clearly from Earth. Rude as they may be, they could help.
But that excitement fell from the bride's features when she caught sight of what the intruder was holding, clutched tightly in his hands. Sycamorebot's internal battery.
It had become clear that this man was not here to help. The pocket dimension trembled with new-found rage. The cathedral was filled immediately with the bride's voice. "What are you doing?!"
> Chase (@themaninyellow)
"Wait!" For the first time in far too long, another living being is in your pocket dimension with you. They're whispering something or another, and they're certainly rushing around for something.
But you won't let this person go. If this intruder is a human... They could be your key to getting home.
So without hesitation, you throw yourself into a chase. Your heart is pounding. You can't let this opportunity slip.
You're going home. This has to be it. This has to be.
"Come back!" > BE THE CONDESCENDING AND VAGUE ASSHOLE.
Who is this condescending mother fucker? It's time to find out.
> WHAT WAS WHAT? THAT'S A FUCKING PERSON THAT'S WHAT THAT IS. THAT WAS A PERSON IN YOUR POCKET DIMENSION.
> CHASE THEM!
Meager? Meager?! You're fairly certain that your previous suspicions have just been confirmed. You think you know what that thing is.
> INVESTIGATE! Whatever's going on here, it needs to stop. This interference is seriously damaging your dimension, and your head. You climb off your perch on the cathedral to investigate-- and as you do, you catch the barest hint of a red streak dashing inside.
Wait... Was that...?
> WAS THAT WHAT?
That is definitely somebody talking. The tone is hostile. Just as warped as before.
It's coming from just about every direction there is-- and that hurts your ears like hell. One moment, it's at your left. The next, it's at your right. You have to see what's going on here. Something is fucking awry.
> WHAT. WHAT?! This thing is moving too fast for you to catch. You're not sure what you're looking at. Your entire dimension is shaking, quivering in the wake of whatever has broken so violently into it.
Somebody is speaking. Something is moving.
You have to get a better look.
You are certain you can hear somebody. A distorted voice travelling through your dimension.
It's not yours. It's not Sycamorebot's. It's not Eziosprite's.
And it's highly discomforting.
> CRASH. What in the name of fuck is that? There is something zooming around your pocket dimension right now. Something going at ridiculous, tremendous speeds. There appears to be a shady looking figure far down below. > WHAT. WHAT?!
> WHAT? That doesn't look good. Something is happening to your pocket dimension. This is pretty bad. Nothing has ever been able to affect your pocket dimension before. You have no idea what could be--
> BE THE YOUNG WOMAN. You are now the young woman. Your name is CHUFFY, and you miss home. This isn't the first time you've mourned the loss of your planet, or even your original universe-- and it certainly won't be the last. But being in the warmth of a distantly passing sun is reminding you all too much of warm Summer days back on Earth, waking up in your on bed, to a regular world. You sure do miss it. You kind of feel like you took it for granted. This reminds you of a quote. "It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth - and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had." - Renowned philosopher, Dora the Exporer. Yes. You are almost certain that Dora the Explorer said that. Either way, it's going to be a--- Wait, what?? > WHAT?
