so i picked up this book that lowkey comes across as self-insert The Terror fanfiction but I do kind of like it so far so we'll seee

i got the sticky tabs out, you know I'm enjoying this so far

#i guess this could also mean the opposite but i tend to not bother with physical books i don't like #altho i should prob make it a habit regardless #anyway the writing is good and it's not instant-hots from the get go so maybe this is a proper slow burn #bc it did say this was a romance #i think
