Fingers turn the delicate pages swiftly. Eyes are blue as the crystal clear sky absorb the words printed before them, mind whirling with thoughts of the teachings. The book told of a time when the world had been plunged into the darkness, filled with chaos because of the greed of man. Only those pure of heart would be graced with the power of the Goddess — enabling them to save one and all.
It was a tale meant to impart wisdom to children, teaching them the power of the virtues and to remain vigilant in the face of the darkness.
She is alone with only the entirety of her imagination. Or is she? The soft tap of shoes against the pavement is caught in her ear and she glances up slightly from her book, curious. Light pink lips turned up ever so slightly as her sights took in the features of the familiar person.
Stella had not thought to see anyone she knew in this city, thus this came as a pleasant shock for her.
