Summer and Winter

I’m warning you. It will never be the same. Through the years of soul searching and after all our indecisiveness. You will never be the same, so am I.

I understand how people could go and change. What I do not understand is, how could someone like you could ever change for what you think is better. I want us to grow from each other. I want us to learn from being together. But it was you who wanted a change. And that's why my summer seem like winter. I cuddle in my own bed. The smell of the earth swirls by my window. The world went all against my favor. It was unraveling. In case you come back, remember that I am not who I was before and you are not who you are today. We will never be the same, dear. Just let go. It will never work.

I chose to see the world again.

For months, I remained departed. The rain came and that's when I wanted to feel free. I chose to see the world again. It was nice being back. Should it also be nice for you to come back? I saw you in front of my door, I find you becoming with your white shirt drenched in rain. I let you in. Sure you changed but it's already the end. I needed you every day but you were busy changing yourself. Changing for whom? Again, I do not understand. I know it wasn't for me. Probably for yourself and I know I was to fool to not know that. You said goodbye even before the rain stopped.

I went back to my bed. From now on, my world will only be composed of summer that seems like winter.

He is funny, you are, too but with humility. He is filled with words, you are filled with ideas. He likes games, you like books. He has a lot of time, unlike you, you are busy. But when it comes to me, you will stop what you are doing, unlike him, he will go out with some other girls. You would go to the library, he would go to the bar. He would appreciate my works of art, you would appreciate me by who I am. But how would you love me? Like him? I hope not, I want you to not be like him. I want you to be my forever. Stupid little things, I hope you are real.

Straight from school, I was able to shoot my outfit on that day. Many of you might ask on what I normally wear to school especially that I commute. Well, I would opt for my most comfortable pieces and seldom will I wear skirts and dresses. But that should not stop you on trying and experimenting clothes. Just remember that you should always be comfortable with what you are wearing. Lasalle is also strict with dress code so when wearing a top like this, make sure that you have something with you a cover up!

Love me for who I am

My eyes are tired trying to dry itself from a transparent fluid that symbolizes loss. But failed to do it anyway. Instead, my body went on through sleeping from grieve. I woke up facing in the mirror and was shocked on how ruined my mascara was. Cliche it may sound but this is how winning girls express their emotions. I went on another day wearing new and better make ups and went home singing in my most bizarre way of killing the time for I knew myself, that I will never let anyone anymore do the same thing as what you did on me. But I learned how many make ups I’ve wasted trying to impress on you, now that I’ve found someone who I do not have to dress good on and wear heavy make ups on. He loves me more than how you expressed your love on me and he even loves me the most when he sees my unlimited flaws. And that gave me the best feeling ever—the acceptance of who I really am

We are now living in this generation where Instagram is something that we should curate with original and amusing ideas. Ate Kristine always gives me the excitement to see her feed. She posts pictures of beach, her favorite books, her different destinations and ootds, which I all love. I first saw her in etc. She was introduced as a tumblr fashion blogger which I got interested in and that’s the time where I always visit her blog. Due to her busy life, I think, her blog is currently on hiatus that’s why I just visit her Instagram.

Zoe Suen

Zoe Suen, a Hongkong based blogger, always amuses me with her skills in layouts. I don’t know how she could handle unsquared pictures. She combines different pictures—usually her portraits— then she just edits them like drawing something on it or just plain combination and yet she can still balance her feed! Hmmm, how do you do that ate Zoe?

Cheyser Pedregosa

Ate Cheyser is currently studying Interior Designing. She’s usually the one who gives me the “free spirit” feeling because of her bohemian looks. And her dreamcatcher collection is a goal! Ate Camie actually inspired me to do this post, she made one last week so you might also want to check it out. Her selfies are so adorable that I get jealous of her face. She’s learning french, wait, I’m starting to get jealous again :—( somewhere in Makati to prepare for her Eurotrip. And her upcoming Eurotrip might just be a reason for you to follow her! Kim Cruz

Lastly, ate Kim. Almost all her posts are actually her portraits. I always get motivated and gain confidence every time I see her shots, thanks to her photographers too! But her modeling skills are really unique and pretty amazing. She also posts pictures of beach and her ootds!! ❤️

Amidst the exhaustion from everyday’s work, I don’t mind talking to you in the middle of the night where all the people are already grasping their dulcet dreams. We talk, we listen, we see all the city lights from where we are sitting. In a roof deck where we can lay and count the stars. Where we share thoughts and enjoy each other’s presence. I see your eyes glamour in the dark as you state your witty story. We laugh. We reminisce our best and worst memories. We sing in our most silly voices covering the silent night of our neighborhoods’. And every word you say, is truly mellifluous. You say I’m fetching, comely and becoming in a mondegreen. I brood, I am so thankful for having you, for being with me through ups and downs. This is a moment where I usually lose track of time. Then we both grasp fresh air from laughing so hard, tiring you say, but then we just cling again together and conflate. This is ineffable. We are halcyon until in epiphany, everything was only ephemeral. You said goodbye even when we haven’t chased the sun yet. And never showed to me again. And as I count the stars and see the city lights alone in this dark and cold night, I remember how that moment was like a snow globe. You shake it up, then suddenly everything will turn upside down, it was like magic but eventually, it will go back to what it was really like. And things have a way of settling back, but I can’t go back anymore.
