I’m curious to know if you guys know of any good places to donate for the real research for Orca/Cetaceans in the wild. Or any good anti-cap programs with open donations?

and by real research I mean actual credible organizations that are.. preferably unaffiliated with shitworld.

P.S. you make my dash a wonderful place and I love you all ;w;

Hawaiian false killer whale hunting Mahi Mahi, via Deron Verbeck:

Introducing HIPc177 She was first sighted in 2003 and part of “Cluster 3” of the Endangered False Killer Whale groups. She is very distinct because she is completely missing her dorsal fin most likely due to interaction with fishing gear, but can’t say for sure.
I was able to capture those images as she attempted to catch Mahi Mahi around floating water or fuel jug.

Is this pic fits as answer on both asks? I hope yes, because I’m too lazy to draw more >u<

At first I drew Zexel in those incriminating stripper poses just because I am an awful person and like how this mechari looks while acting saucily. I was never planning to make a pole part of his background, but now it seems so inextricably linked with his personality, that I have to admit: yeah, he did dance for cassians and he wouldn’t mind to do it again if they have something to reward him with. Zexel considers dancing as easy way to get money for gear, repairs, business that he has and other mechari needs. He also enjoys organics company what makes stripping a win-win! So, if you have some spare plats and want to get a great show for your club or for your own joy, you know who can be invited.

Nonetheless, entertaining people with his moves isn’t Zex’s main talent. Although noone take me seriously anymore, he is a good hired gun. Honestly.

forever reblogs Zexel

you’re still in Mill’s heart you absolutely gorgeous streamlined thing.

An Important Update

While we were designing the Exotic Robotics line the models all had working names. Some of them changed slightly during development, but one was so immediately perfect for the model that there wasn’t even any discussion. Unfortunately, we completely neglected to consider the model’s name outside the context of our own product line. A few of you reached out with your concerns when we released the Hard-were, but with the name on the toy itself, we were a little more invested than we might otherwise have been.

A couple weeks later Primal Hardwere contacted us with their concerns that the similarity of our product name to their company name would cause confusion. We admit that we were pretty torn on this. We certainly hadn’t intended any offense to Primal Hardwere when we chose the name, and changing the name now would also mean a lot of extra work. There were some difficult discussions for several weeks about the proper course of action, which unfortunately as a business isn’t necessarily the “right” thing. We even looked into the legal aspect of it and were told that the two names were being used differently enough to co-exist.

But when it came down to it, we had to admit that we’d made a mistake. We got together with Frisky Beast for the advertising on this project because we wanted to show that there can be friendly and supportive competition within the industry, and this oversight undermined that. At the end of the day, we want to be able to feel good about ourselves and our business. And so, today the Hard-were is getting a new name in order to amend our mistake. We’ve also taken this opportunity to improve the art and update the product description to fit with the new name.

Over the coming weeks we will be making slight alterations to the existing molds in order to remove the word HARD-WERE from the base, but all other details will remain the same. We don’t expect this to cause any delays in production. Finally, if you haven’t already, check out Primal Hardwere. They’ve got a lot of cool products, and some really awesome stuff in the works!

Unpopular opinion:

tbh the name on this product was the absolute least of my initial concern with this entire line. While this was quite a concerning bit, I feel that the similarities between the... “mech” design and that of Bad Dragon’s previous model, “kelvin the ice dragon” are a more serious matter that should have been fixed prior to the release.

I’m happy to see that this issue was resolved later on but the fact that it wasn’t even considered to start is still pretty disheartening. Ah but we all make mistakes I suppose.

Just wish the other issue was fixed more immediately. That’s all. So yeah good on you for fixing something, but not so good that other things haven’t been fixed.

mmm also not really looking to start a discussion on the matter just stating an opinion however much or little others agree or disagree with it.
