i watched this nice youtube video and it was about making your own wealth. the woman stated writing down 10 year goals, then 5 year and then smaller goals in between. she also said not to hang around toxic, pessimistic people because it will not motivate you but rather stumble. she spoke on never comparing yourself and if you are in a job for a year or more you should ask for a raise or promotion, stating the facts why you should receive one and if they don’t give you one, you should be making plans to leave that job in the new few weeks. but it was really informative and im definitely going  to use it in my vanilla life as well as sugaring.

Great video

I need more driven friends like her

7 ways to seem richer than you are

1.Always get in and out of a car elegantly. When approaching the door, stand with your butt facing the seat. Get your legs together, bend your knees and sit before sliding your legs into the car. Never spread your legs or jump in and out of a car. When leaving a car, wait for him to get the door, keep your knees together and slide them out first before leading over and standing up. Here’s a video.

2. Have a basic knowledge of the expensive part of town. Know the major streets, landmarks… and most importantly, where the stores are.

3. Work on your penmanship. Write neatly and know how to write in cursive. I’ve actually had an SD who said “Penmanship is how I tell the difference between posers and real money. Poor woman write like toddlers. “

4. Make sure your outfits are worn correctly. Make sure they fit correctly. Iron your clothes. Take care of rips, holes and missing buttons. Don’t mix metals. Make sure your shoes are clean. Don’t wear anything that needs to be adjusted or fixed every few minutes.

5. Understand money. Know the other major currencies and how they relate to the dollar. A Lot of high-end websites list prices in euros or pounds. You should have a close estimate of how much it is in dollars.

6. Start reading the news and understand what’s going on in the world, not just the stuff your friends put on facebook. I like bbc world news, wall street journal, Forbes and the business of fashion.

7. Always be on time. Wealthy people are busy and have tight schedules. Know how long it takes to get ready, plan your commute with google maps and be aware of things that can you late.

When the German multi-millionaire playboy Gunter Sachs began romancing the French screen idol Brigitte Bardot in May 1966, he didn’t do things by halves. After he arranged for a helicopter to drop hundreds of red roses over La Madrague, her Côte d'Azur property, the then most desirable woman in the world certainly paid attention.

I want to be a CEO of a Fortune 500 company someday. Or make my own multibillion empire. I'm unsure as to which major I should go into in order to make this happen. Do you have any suggestions?

The traditional path is to get a bachelors in Management, then an MBA concentrated in operations. The career route is frontline manager -> mid-level manager -> COO -> CEO. Historically, COO (which is basically the 3rd rank of the company) has lead to the CEO seat most frequently.

Times are changing though. Functionally, general managers became CEOs most often, but now people are being tapped from Accounting, Finance, or Economic roles. Which of the 3 is best is entirely dependent on the company you’re working for, but even if you choose to avoid them all as majors, don’t expect to become a CEO if you don’t have some kind of financial acumen. And I mean to the point of being able to rival the people that did major in it.

Most surprisingly, something like 30 – 35% of current Fortune 500 CEOs got their Bachelors in Engineering. Science majors in general (Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, etc.) are being favored to an alarming degree when they stack an MBA on top of their primary education. Considering the future, degrees in science will only become more popular.

So far as majors you want FAME (Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics) or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). If you know what field you’re wanting to go into specifically, concentrate your Bachelors in it then put a MBA on top. For example, If I wanted to work for Tesla Motors I’d choose the most relevant Engineering major, then get an MBA later. Keep in mind that you need to understand Finance regardless. If you don’t know Accounting, Finance, and Economics to some degree you’re not going to go far.
