down the grapevine || minwoo & aster

[text to: MW] On, no. That happened a bit later than that. A few months, give or take. Alright, I'll be there. I look forward to seeing you.

***

Was that weird? it was weird. It wasn't as if Minwoo had been bad or anything, it had just been an interaction he hadn't quite expected, and now that he was with his three boyfriends, especially Mujin, he felt a little guilty for what he had done. But one couldn't change the past, now could they?

He'd helped to clean up his new colleague's space and to unpack a little, then headed home to shower and change clothing, heading towards the club after letting his boyfriends know he wouldn't be able to hang out that evening, at least not for a few more hours. He'd text and see if they were all still together once he was free. They didn't seem to worried about it, Deimos just seemed pouty, which made him smile.

Getting up to the doors, Aster was slow to get in, mostly since there were a few groups of people standing around waiting for friends or something, and he didn't want to just shove through him. But that's what he ended up having to do to slip through the doors, then up to the hostess to let her know who he was and that Minwoo was expecting him. Right away she brought him towards the VIP area, rushing a little it seemed, but it still gave him time to look around. Still familiar, but hazy as well. Once she brought him to where Minwoo was--as well as a, uh...Nekoninnin? was it? who was kneeling beside his chair and partially laying over the archdemon's lap, Aster turned to the hostess to give her his drink order; a simple iced coffee, since he had a feeling anything hot to drink wouldn't help with his nerves at that moment.

His attention turned back to Minwoo and he smiled, bowing in greeting, "It's nice to see you again, and--" He looked to the neko, whose ears swiveled and he looked up towards Aster, though only by tilting his head, not lifting his head from Minwoo's lap, "Nice to meet you, I'm Aster," the neko grinned, introducing himself as Minsu. The neko seemed to know something that the meteorchild did not?

Anyway, the professor moved to slip into his spot across from Minwoo, tucking his hands into his lap absently. "Ah--can I ask, how did you know about what happened? I thought we had kept it pretty quiet..." Besides his boyfriends and Key, and he supposed a few of their friends. To everyone else it was 'family issues'.

“Hmm. It is okay for now, though we can have another appointment soon to discuss more. We will have a fruitful collaboration Aster, of that I am sure.” He said and as the impending doom of mortality seemed to dawn onto Aster he took a moment to check whether the demonic blood magic did it’s thing on the scroll and to his satisfaction it did.

The dark eyes of the demon had golden swirls dancing in the crimson lake as he watched the other. Then smirked a little at the mention. Marriage was a sour topic for him and he had a few flashes to his own wedding- or what it could have been. The roses in the snow, then the blood in that same virginal snow that had ended everything he had ever loved in one snap of the fingers of a group of demons.

It did not hurt Minwoo to hunt demons and destroy them- he loved every second of destroying his kind. It satisfied him in a way that only revenge could; a murderous cocktail of hatred and an almost orgasmic satisfaction. “Marriage.” he repeated as he forced himself back to the here and now. “It is for your bloodline.” he said as he weighed his options- if he gave in and gave Aster what he wanted he would never get the three others in this pact. He was intrigued by the mention of Mujin’s family.

“So your children, not your husbands.” he chuckled a bit. “That would be an unfair trade for me. You wouldn’t want to be a cheapskate, right Aster love?” he purred as he leaned forward. “You, your blood, not those you marry. Or you can just marry everyone you care about, that won’t do.” he decided. Marriage was a scam anyway.

Then the following question made him shrug “Kill those that I can’t or shouldn’t. Sometimes it is not desirable to explode someone’s eyes or kill them and leave demonic energy.”

He sighed as he leaned back again and gestured for one of the androids (one with two pigtails and big eyes) to bring them more drinks and a few snacks. “It is good you’re curious and cautious but this is an alliance that will do both of us good. Your family will be a lot better protected against demonic attacks when you have an archdemon that protects your clan, Aster.”

The archdemon looked at the man expectantly.

“Well?”

🔴 Murder in heels { JooWoo}

It was a good instinct of the doll (did dolls even have instinct? He did not know). He would not harm her since she was now his in a way, his employee and he did take good care of those that worked for him. keep your enemies close but those who were on your payroll even closer. Joohyun was the perfect example of that, and he knew she would be a good doll for him. He did not place his trust in anyone and Joohyun had proven to be delightful in ditzy conversation and made him look really good in front of other people.
“Maybe, I do like suits. I don’t know how official a harness would look though.” he answered with a small chuckle and squished her side a little affectionately. “Oh, we should go to a concert soon. What kind of music to you listen to Joohyun? Ah, don’t tell me… Do you like pop music?” he could just see her dance to the songs.
He liked pop too, but wouldn’t admit it out loud- not very demonlike. Or well, so he thought, he to remain mysterious and dark and brooding and not admit he liked ‘bubblepop’ in the morning.
“Hmm, he will break something.” the demon said and watched as there were some other officials that came on stage. “Okay, when I say go, I need you to scream and run with the crowd. Hold onto my hand, we shouldn’t lose each other.” He held her hand. “Okay?”
Then the demon concentrated on the person on stage and kept staring at him as his eyes lit up slightly- and then the man on stage suddenly started crying. Not normal tears but tears of blood- red lines came from his eyes and the flashes of cameras started to go off as the man started to panic. People were uneasy but there was no panic yet.
That only happened as the woman next to the man on the stage started to cry blood too. Minwoo cleared his throat and then yelled “THEY’RE BEING PUNISHED BY GOD” and people started to yell as some started to panic and tried to get out of the crowd- only to start pushing when the eyes of the man exploded.
Joohyun, now.” Though the hysteria had already started and there were bodies everywhere.

Who was Joohyun to turn away money and gifts in exchange for being arm candy and helping out with secret missions. It was the perfect job for the doll.

Joohyun grinned at the promise of going to a concert she thought for a moment, no one has ever asked her that before. Sure the music on the radio was fun to listen to but it was a lot of yelling and screaming with loud bass instruments. “Actually not pop music, I like classical music. Its beautiful. The orchestra the piano.” She thought about the ost music in the drama she watched, how hearing the music conveyed the emotions she couldn’t feel. It led her down a path of discovering the classics and she fell in love.

His words came out fast and low but she heard it, she wanted to squeal with excitement while nodding her head to show him she understood. She always wanted to scream like the women in the movies when they find out their child died. The enchanted doll held the demon’s hand tight, she did not want to get lost in the crowd, she already felt uncomfortable being close to so many people.

Joohyun watched in awe, moving her head from the demon to the man on stage, she had no ideas about the demons’ power. She never asked about it but watching at the moment suddenly had her very curious.

Her eyes widened as she watched the man eye’s explode, she didn’t even know something like that was possible. It made her think about her own eyeballs, she liked looking at things. The squishy balls in her head needed to be protected, she made a mental note to go to Namjoon about it later.

She was brought out her thoughts when her name was called. Oh it was go time. The people around her were already pushing in a panic which only made her panic, she was being touched more than she wanted to be. Getting closer to the demon, she let out a loud blood curdling scream at the top of her lungs. Most of the people around them jumped surprised or the panic pushing became shoving.

Having no lungs came in handy as Joohyun continued to scream with no issue. She was shoved into the demon and she used it to her advantage and held onto the back of his suit.

He had not known about her distaste for crowds- still he probably would have pushed through with the thing anyway. He paid her for a reason- she was his doll. Not in the way her master had owned her but in a very much employee of the month kind of way. He did notice how she reacted to the praise and smiled back at her. She had done well and she deserved the praise. “Maybe only when you want to attract attention huh,” he suggested as he tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear.

They went in through the backside where the cooks would smoke a cigarette for dinner in between shifts and so they ended up in the fancy restaurant where he would treat her like the princess he suspected she wanted to be.

“Oh, I am sure we can get someone to clean it out for you. I have some androids working for me, my favourite can clean very well. She is trustworthy.” he promised the woman as he handed her the card.

“Hmmm, I think everything would be a bit much but they do offer Tapas before a larger dinner if you want you can get just tapas. They are… Hmm Like small dishes you usually eat as an appetizer before the main dish. I will take you out to more nice places when we work together again, okay?” he promised her as he ordered them some wine.

“I assume you don’t get drunk either, right?” he asks her with a grin and then picks something with meat for himself and a small soup before. “So, Joohyun, tell me, what is your future plan?”

Zitao knew of Aster of course and he was listening in as he was talking to Ra and Minsu but he wouldn’t do something that would piss off Minwoo. While friends- he knew better than to piss off the arch-demon and he did not feel like behind destroyed just yet. Ra was also listening in- just because he was a curious creature but he had not a soul that he wanted to tell this to, perhaps he wanted to point out to Aster that Minwoo was eternal and that being bound eternally to an arch-demon was always a risk.

He didn’t, instead he questioned Minsu on where he got his outfit, as if nothing was happening behind him.

His eyes twitched slightly, he did not know about Mujin’s family but the way the other spoke it was an important family. He nodded and made a mental note to try to find out.

The soul thing- it was his main power, a joke from the universe after he lost his soulmate. Ah well. He waited for the other to decide- liking that Aster took his time. It meant the man was sensible as he had expected him to be. Smiling a little at the way the other reacted to his promise of respecting boundaries. “I am not an incubus, Aster, our previous… moment was just having some consensual fun. I am not into anything forced or unwanted anyway and I have people if I desire sex.” His eyes flickered to the trio. Zitao snorted and blew a kiss at the demon.

He nodded at the other, it made sense Aster would have to talk to his elder. “I will recognize your soul.” he said with a nod as he watched the other note some things down. “101 years is an awfully short amount of time, how sad.” he mused before nodding. “Please talk with your father and make sure he agrees, it will be for you and your blood.” A pause as the other spoke about the boyfriends. “In the future, perhaps your boyfriends can make a similar pact with me as well, for now, this deal is only for you and your family.”

He nodded and grabbed a small scroll from behind him and rolled it out as black whisps appeared and text did on the paper. “In return for your loyalty and skills, as well as the loyalty of your family I will find and destroy the demons who have harmed you. The contract is soulbound, so when reincarnated it will still be binding.” more text appeared on the scroll.

A small pause and he smiled as he added “and in return for eternal loyalty I will be a protector to you, in this life and those after. Do we have a deal?”

He would later get back to classical music- for now he was concentrated on the task at hand. The people were on the stage and he had to concentrate.

Oh and she did so well, her scream made people panic even more and more people started yelling and screaming. Pushing to get away and some went towards the stage as there was panic all around and Minwoo held onto the doll- he was small but he was a demon after all and a few black swirls escaped from his fingers and he followed them as he held Joohyun against his back, leading her through the crowd and going with it but diagonally- making it out to the side-street and he escaped with her into the alley.

His breathing was heavy but he was excited and thrilled as people were still screaming and a heli sounded in the air, probably to report on the chaos and the freak accident. Minwoo grabbed his phone and texted a few things before looking at Joohyun.

“Well done Joohyun, you did really well today.” he praised her and then adjusted his shirt before gesturing her to follow him through the dark alleyway. He had his maps out on the phone and found them a nice sneak-way to an expensive restaurant where he had reserved a table before.

“You like eating right?” he asked as he pulled out the chair for her and then sat down himself. “Even if you don’t need it. Ah, you can speak freely this is a supernatural restaurant, the chef is a hologram.”

The enchanted doll was always put at ease when she was with Minwoo, just like with Namjoon she felt protected. Sure she was a business partner but Minwoo still made her feel okay as he explained exactly what he needed from her. Joohyun was paid to be arm candy and she loved it nonetheless.
She stayed close to the demon as more people crowded around them to see whoever was getting on the stage. Oh a speech, she looked over to where he gestured. So they came to listen to a guy talk? “I like his suit, hmmm” She looked back over to Minwoo and gazed at his body “You would look good in a gray suit, maybe with a maroon tie. One of those black and gold chest harnesses over a white button-up…no a black button-up” As everyone around them clapped she turned her attention back to the stage “Oh right back to the task at hand” She giggled to herself. “I’ve never been to a concert before, I don’t really get out much. “ Which was another reason why she enjoyed her outings with Minwoo so much.
“I am excited, I hope he breaks out into song or something”

It was a good instinct of the doll (did dolls even have instinct? He did not know). down the grapevine || minwoo & aster

Hopefully Aster never finds out about it going down the grapevine like that…but he assumed Chiwoo knew before the major had even been conscious and out of the palace, so it wasn’t as if he’d been able to tell him that he didn’t want it passed around. But then again, he’d also hoped all of them wouldn’t run around telling people, since he was still in danger, and so were others if they figured out he wasn’t dead.
Aster wasn’t quick to anger, but once he was angry, it was difficult to calm his temper.
Oh–Zitao, he recognized him. Not the other, though…maybe that’s why the neko seemed a little familiar as well, he watched as the said neko moved to crawl up behind Zitao to wrap his arms loosely around his shoulders, keeping out of his wait of the ipad while he purred lowly against him, leaning what little bodyweight he had on the alien. Hm. Moving to sit, the major looked to the arch-demon, feeling a little better now that he was actually here. It was hyping himself up to get here that had been kind of difficult. But his first question was answered and he sighed, wanting to know the 'sources’ but decided against pushing for them. No need. He was an arch-demon, after all, maybe he heard from other demons?
Looking up when the woman came back, he smiled in thanks to her, not outwardly bothered by the touch to his shoulder, since it seemed innocent enough. Looking back to Minwoo, he picked up the coffee to take a sip, a little startled to taste what seemed to also be alcohol in it. Well, he didn’t really specify, did he? Still tasted nice, he’d just have to be mindful.
Snorting a little at the mention of 'making it a habit’, he took another sip for setting the glass down, pushing it away a little so he didn’t end up chugging it. “Sadly, no, I’ve never been overly fond of lowly demons,” Aster had to specify, of course, not wanting to offend Minwoo at all. “They and the humans were…are often a big problem with the Liuxing, so targeting my family and loved ones is unsurprising, especially shape-shifters,” his tone was a mix of masked anger and attempted steadiness, his feelings towards all of this had been hard to cover up, but he’d tried very hard to be the one to be there for his lovers and family. Aster was not one to crack easily, and Arthur thus far had been the only one to make a few dents in his reinforced walls…then again, he felt as if he could lower his defenses with Arthur already, not that he couldn’t with the others, but those two would react very differently if he 'let loose’ what he was actually feeling and battling with sometimes.
Do you need them taken care of? The Major froze, staring right back at the arch-demon, straight in the eyes, unafraid to do so, which was a stupid move. But he relaxed his shoulders a little and took a bigger mouthful of his drink, happy now that they had mixed with with some sort of coffee or cream liquor. “I don’t remember a lot of what they did, honestly,” partial lie, kind of. Once he woke up, a lot of his memories were hazy, which was why he needed help remembering things…but things stuck out.
“I was kept underground. Away from the moon and stars, so I couldn’t communicate or regain energy. My attempts to fight back were useless after a week, since my powers wouldn’t work without starlight and moonlight,” his fingers tapped absently to the glass, picking through the memories that were solidly in place. “They took blood, but not in an intelligent way. They cut my sides open, like medieval bloodletting. I don’t know why they did it that way, probably just to torture me, but they wasted a lot of blood,” it still confused him, and he still didn’t know how he’d explain that to his boyfriends…some were scars of the past, but most were scars from the beginning of when they were testing his blood. “Later they took chunks of flesh and reused my own blood to try to heal the wounds, which doesn’t work quite as well, especially without the night sky. I believe they ate the flesh, but I’m not certain. They did 'recharge’ my blood with starlight, which made the majority of my scars nearly invisible, especially the deep ones once they mostly healed over.”
It was obvious why he didn’t tell anyone else what had happened so far. Both hands held the glass now, and the woman came back by with two glasses; one with just the coffee, and the other with just the liquor, which he was very thankful for. Guess she could read his face. “Mostly everything else is hazy. Between bloodletting and cutting through flesh and muscle, I was exhausted and unconscious a lot of the time. I’d wake up every so often to a room of dim light, but they’d knock me out quickly. The last few weeks they gave me some kind of liquid moonlight as sustenance, and then I woke up to palace guards yelling at me. I dont remember the faces of my captors, only voices and the underground caves, plus the tools they used, which weren’t like normal medical tools.” Aster quieted then, taking the arch-demon’s offer back into consideration. Him telling Minwoo all of this meant it’d probably get around, but… “I don’t care if you share this, but please don’t let it get to my boyfriends and family. They don’t need to know. Please,” he didn’t look up for a moment, then glanced over to Zitao and the two he didn’t know well, hoping his hushed tone was quiet enough for those neko ears to not pick up on.
Turning his gaze back to Minwoo, he took in a breath and straightened up, “What would it take for them to disappear? The imposter and those who work with him. If we find him, we’ll find their caves.”

There were many things Aster could hope- but hoping that Minwoo wouldn’t find a way was silly. The demon knew many things and had many connections around the academy and beyond. It came with the territory. Besides Minwoo would never do anything to harm Aster (Jeongmin? He might).

The demon sipped from his own drink as he watched the teacher, he seemed a bit different now from last time he had seen him in the club. Minwoo had not approached the other then, not wanting to cause trouble with the boyfriends he was with. Though he had sensed something- if only he had paid better attention… Ah well, water under the bridge. “Hm, lowly demons and humans can be a pest. I agree.” the demon wasn’t fond of the lower ranks of his kin. Chaotic and senselessly cruel in his opinion. Though there were people who could say the same about the arch-demon himself. Those people were wrong of course.

“But enough to be scarred,” Minwoo pointed out. Then listened as Aster continued to talk and explain what had happened to him. Frowning slightly at the mention of the moon and stars (not being completely up to date with all races and their special abilities) and humming. Though when the other mentioned the taking of blood he huffed- insulted by such a medieval way of working with blood. He, who practised blood magic, did not enjoy wasting blood. Always needing little for something to work- he wasn’t a vampire after all. That was the only real reaction he gave throughout the story though. The eating of flesh- it was not something that particularly phased him. Even if it was rough and morbid. He felt sorry for Aster that it happened- but he was here and he survived.

“You want to protect your boyfriends.” he repeated and nodded as he tried to think of groups who could be responsible. He would have to… investigate. His eyes followed Aster’s to Zitao, Ra and Minsu. “They can be trusted.” he promised, not thinking the others were listening in (and even if they did, he trusted them to not run their mouths).

“It will be about finding them first Aster, and if we find them it is easy. It is about what you offer in return.” He looked up with a small smirk as his red eyes gleamed. “If I help you with this and find these creatures… I will have to get something in return.” He licked his lips before taking another sip from his glass and leaned back. “I would ask for your soul but what I sense- your soul isn’t really one I want.” he raised his hand and a string appeared from Aster’s chest to Minwoo’s finger and then running further along- disappearing into nothingness. He tugged on it gently- making the other feel a tug from within his deepest being. “and it seems like your soul is tied together with other ones-” he frowned for a moment as he looked at strings that weren’t visible to the others- only for a second there was a glimpse of several coloured light strings running towards the older man.

Minwoo let go of the soul threads and looked back at Aster again. “Loyalty.” he said “From you and your family.” he kept his eyes on Aster. “I want you to be loyal to me, I won’t treat you as a butler or my personal slave. That’s not my style, and I’ll respect your boundaries with your lovers but I want your loyalty. You’re strong and you’re obviously from a well-off family. I am an immortal demon and I have no attachments yet with your kind.” he smirked as he leaned forward “and it can be a good friendship too, having an arch-demon on your side too. Eternally.”

🔴 Murder in heels { JooWoo}

Joohyun loved spending time with the demon, she feed off the attention from the other. The gifts he showered her with were also an added bonus. so of course when Minwoo would invite her to different events she jumped at the chance each and every time.
Her perfectly manicured feet outfited with beautiful strappy pink heels that she received from the demon. Her shoes matching her form fitting pink dress. “Yes they are so pretty! Thank you Daddy Minwoo! I’m just so glad I had a dress to match.Pink is my favorite color.” A joyful smile spread on her lips as she looked at him. “ Of course they are comfortable, I don’t feel” Perks of being a doll
The enchanted doll wasn’t one for touching others but she felt comfortable with the demon, he explained exactly what he needed from her and she happily obliged. She didn’t really know what they were doing at this venue but she was happy to be included.
Her attention turned to the empty stage with a slight frown. “Isn’t there supposed to be someone up there singing or dancing or…I don’t know something? This is a bad concert”

It was a nice day out. He was enjoying the company of the doll, she was perhaps not the normal kind of person he would hang out with but she was cute and he enjoyed his time. “no problem darling,” he answered her as his arm was around her tiny waist and he was happy that she was such a small thing- making him look a lot taller in comparison. He wouldn’t touch her if she didn’t allow it (but then she would not be as useful as a pretty girl piece next to him). He never overdid it, not needed and neither of them were waiting for that.

Right, she didn’t feel. He forgot that for a moment. How useful- he wished he didn’t feel. That would be ideal but… Ah well.

“Hm, it isn’t a concert sweetie. It’s going to be a speech from a really important man.” he smiled at her as he nudged and nodded at the commotion at the side of the podium. “I think they’re here now, look- it is the man in the grey suit.” he pointed the very important man out to the girl.

The man got onto the stage after shaking hands with some people on the way and then cleared his throat as he started to thank everyone for coming and everyone clapped. Minwoo did too- not wanting to do it right away, let the man first get some words in.

“The show will get better soon, okay? have you gone to many concerts Joohyun?”

@minwoo-ia

The arch-demon of the academy sat in his throne as he heard about the interesting things that had happened to an interesting man. It was a slow day so he decided to text the man- interested in the interesting things that the interesting man had experienced. A man who he had gotten to his knees a while back now had been through so much and Minwoo wanted to know. Welcoming the other to his den after a few texts and making sure the staff knew to let the teacher through into the VIP area where he was sitting chatting to Zitao and Ra. Discussing some new business ventures as he scratched the nekoninnin’s ear lazily.

The demon looked up when Aster arrived and he smiled as he continued to pet the neko. Zitao and Ra looked up too, the alien smirking slightly as he nudged Ra and they turned away from the conversation. whispering amongst themselves and scribbling on an iPad what seemed to be scene sketches.

“How I knew?” Minwoo shrugged. “I know people, people know me.” he said, not ready to disclose his sources- even if his ‘sources’ had been Jeongmin, who knew from Chiwoo, who knew from the boyfriends & co. News traveled quickly and since Jeongmin still wasn’t very fond of the quatro he had been dying to tell Minwoo about it all as soon as he had heard. Minwoo, obviously, always willing and pleased to listen.

The waitress came to bring aster his drinks and she touched his shoulder for a moment before she pranced off again. Minwoo followed her with his eyes for a moment before returning his eyes to Aster. Whispering quietly to Minsu to go join Ra and Zitao, pushing him off his lap before he inched a little closer to Aster. Leaning in and smiling.

“So, you got kidnapped by demons? Is that something you make a habit out of?” a small joke before the gold in his eyes stilled and he stared at Aster. “What did they do to you? Do you need them to be taken care of?”

🔴 The pleasure is mine {Shiloh&Minwoo}

The angel could feel the other’s demonic aura piercing through his skin as the distance between them became more and more insignificant, his soul being engulfed with a thrill so intense he couldn’t recall experiencing anything similar before. It was in his cursed blood to fall so easily to the dark charms, to the cunning tongues and devious acts of such creatures. Yet in those moments it was as if he was bewitched, his mind captured by a daze that put all reason on pause and allowed nothing but vices and passions to guide his actions. Slowly, but surely, he was falling into sin. Hell, he has fallen already, and now he was only sinking further, straying away from any holy commandment that he wasn’t supposed to transgress.
As his fingers almost trembled with the desire to touch, blue hues lost themselves into the gleaming red orbs, hypnotized by the golden swirls. Imperceptibly even to himself, Shiloh inched even closer, his breath halting within his throat. Simply being so close was enough to make it hard to breathe, in such a delightful way, that he could only imagine what it would be like to be even closer. Would it be his demise? Perhaps. Yet he couldn’t help but be curious, tempted to discover.
As he brought his face mere centimeters away from Minwoo’s ear, the angelic creature sharply inhaled, his whole body tingling. God knew his creation, He knew he was wicked. No good. “I’ll be honest with you, Archdemon.” Shiloh spoke in a whisper, his hand resting upon the other’s thigh, “I’m quite indifferent to décor, but I’ll follow you wherever you want to take me.”

Power surged through the air whenever the archdemon moved, it was like the endless ocean moving around a mighty warvessel. Slow movements as he waited for the right moment to move and not to scare the angelic entity within his grasp. He saw how he affected the angel and it delighted him so- oh to make others commit to sin. The power it gave him was better than any kind of alcoholic beverage or drug- it was a magical thing; to feel someone so close to giving in. Addictive in a way for sure.

A touch to his thigh and a whisper and then the demon had gotten up and led the other with him, calmly walking with the other as he placed Shiloh’s hand on his lower arm to guide him through the small crowd that had gathered in the time that they had been talking and to the mysterious elevator (one might call it even a hellevator). It opened upon being faced with it’s master and Minwoo pressed the golden button under all the other buttons- it did not have a number or any way to tell one where it would bring you. Though it would only accept the touch of Minwoo, close staff and family. “Hope you like going down, angel.” he said, the elevator moving and the feeling in the pit of your stomach when G forces tugged on your body obvious.

There, in the depth of the Earth, the elevator dinged and they got out at a hallway, marble and golden details everywhere with a large door at the end of the hallway and a few doors on the left and right. Minwoo did not address those tunnels as he walked with Shiloh to the room at the end of the hallway and opened it for the man; showing a rather large office with a lounge area, and some doors- one ajar showing a bedroom all in black, red and golden too. The demon had a very obvious taste. A bit tacky perhaps but he enjoyed the overly expensive things and those colours were his brand after all. While the demon had a softer side he did not show it to strangers, only those closer to him knew of his kinder touch. Right now he just invited Shiloh into the office and gestured to the minifridge. “Get something, if there is something you want that's not there let me know, I will ask Ky to get it for you.”

He sat down on one of the large red sofa’s and patted next to him for Shiloh to come join him there.

🔴 Deep space/cloud 9 { WonWoo AU

The station was busy, not too busy, but busy enough for it to be bustling and the sounds of Quark’s were like his heartbeat. He knew it was there but he didn’t even register it anymore. The neon lights from the club were obnoxious- Or so Minwoo thought as he leaned against the wall of the main deck where all the shops and diners were. He just finished some racht at the Klingon diner and it had been fresh so he felt a little… wiggly.
A familiar face? “Ya- Jeongmin?” he called out to the Starfleet officer that he had known for a good few years now and grinned at the tiny human (not that he was that much taller, maybe a centimetre or two…). “Who is your friend?” he asked as he eyed the stranger next to Jeongmin. Minwoo was always a bit wary of strangers since they were sometimes real dickheads to Bajorans and the ridges on his nose and his sacred jewellery were a dead giveaway.
“I’m Minwoo,” he introduced himself to the stranger as he observed him curiously.
@hyungwon-ia
Heels clicked together as his hand rose, thumb to the side, fingers split perfectly down the center keeping two fingers on either side.
“Commander Hyungwon, I believe the proper thing to say is pleased to make your acquaintance?” Was it actually nice, uncertain as they had just met, but this was the greeting of most non Vulcans. This one was a Bajoran, the first he had met though he had done extensive studying on them since receiving this mission.
“First Lieutenant Commander Jeongmin has been showing me around the station, I’ve just arrived from New Vulcan.” While his title was captain, he was more so a diplomat sent from his planet to establish new relationships with this station.
“Its quite a…place.”

A vulcan, the Bajoran scrunched his nose for a split second and then straightened his back and nodded at the man. “Something like that, yes.” he replied to the commander and his eyes were amused as he watched the other, then eyed Jeongmin who shot him a glance to say something like be nice. Which Minwoo took as an offence he was perfectly nice most of the time anyway. “Oh, how is New Vulcan? I never been,” Minwoo started as he shrugged and stared at the man. “You know, since we have just been freed from the Cardassian occupation… not a lot of travelling going on.” His eyebrow twitched slightly at the comment about Terok Nor the Bajoran name for the space station.

“What are you doing here, commander?” he asked and Jeongmin interjected Minwoo here was one of the leaders that fought against the occupation, commander. He is well respected amongst his people and before the occupation, he travelled the stars a lot- didn’t you?

Minwoo made a face at Jeongmin who spoke so highly of him and seemed to have some sort of ulterior motive for sharing this. “Well, that is true, but you know some people also called us terrorists for what we did.” his eyes darted back to the commander, wanting to see what the Vulcan thought about that. Great job Minwoo, involve politics right away.

🔴 The pleasure is mine {Shiloh&Minwoo}

“My bad.” Pursed lips subtly quirked upwards as his eyelids slowly fell shut for a fraction of a second when being informed about the precise rank his companion held. His gesture, although seemingly innocent, carried some extent of defiance. As if both the hierarchies Above and those Below didn’t hold much importance in his eyes. But, at least now, the almost suffocating energy he’s felt when first being in Minwoo’s presence could be explained. The other was no regular demon next door, which only made things more thrilling for Shiloh, who could hardly help himself from falling deeper and deeper into that abyss. Only able to image what was hidden there, all the passions, temptations, desires that were repressed. That abyss lured him in with the promise of unleashing them all.
“You weren’t paying attention to me, were you?” Shiloh asked, the tip of his tongue gliding across his lips, picking the remnants of that acid juice the lemon left behind. “I said you could touch my wings if you want to.”
Curious, the angel observed those claws with utmost interest, his wings only instinctively twitching at the touch, a self-preservation instinct that Shiloh had to control. He felt exposed, so vulnerable in those moments. Painfully aware that those claws, as softly as they caressed his feathers, could become a bloody weapon and rip them apart, feather by feather, until nothing was left. The thought was electrifying, bewildering, so much so that it managed to make the angel bite onto his bottom lip as his gaze returned upon the demon’s features.
Leaning forward a few inches, Shiloh gladly picked the slice in between his lips, blue eyes never leaving Minwoo’s own. On the contrary, he kept on staring inside those demonic orbs, intently, intensely, as if trying to break through and reach right into the demon’s heart. The one he claimed to have. Barely perceptible, a pleased hum resonated from inside the angel’s throat as his eyes squinted with the acid liquid he sucked on.
Please.” The angel replied, seemingly offended in his tone, but the wicked smile on his mouth told a different story. “Only to Archdemons.”

The touch of the wings underneath his fingertips was enough to make him shiver in anticipation of something- He did not know what was about to come but he was excited. It thrilled him so- the touch of the velvet surface of the white wings. As light as freshly fallen snow- and oh! The other man seemed so innocent with hints of something more. Hidden below that freshly fallen snow, indeed it was a delightful feeling. Even the twitch that the other showed, something that could only come from a sensible form of self-preservation had the Archdemon excited.

The lemon was taken from his free hand and he felt captivated by the angel in the establishment. Oh, what a bother to be so enthralled by the angelic creature. He had to snap out of it- blinking a few times he brought himself back to the now and here. Looking and focusing back on the angel as his red eyes with golden swirls were on the angel. His pupils dilating slightly as the gold swirled like the eye of the storm. His eyes were the most alive about him as he sat perfectly still. Listening to the angel- he was perhaps a young demon. Too young for the role and title that he had but he was made to last eternity.

“Then I am in luck, aren’t I?” he chuckled as he shuffled closer to the angel, now engulfing himself in the wing, slipping within touching distance of the angel and feeling the tingle all over as he had manoeuvred himself so close to Shiloh. What a delightful happenstance that Shiloh had come here, entered in this shop to see him. Truly a delight indeed.

He smiled as he reached over and grabbed his own drink, sipping from it. “Do you like interior decorating?” he asked as he swirled the melting ice in his glass around. “I have been redecorating my office- I am sure it could use an angelic look on it?”

This had to be the most obvious move in the universe but Minwoo was not going for subtle- he knew it was only a blink away from Hey wanna come fuck in the basement but he still had to dress the offer up a little.

🔴 The pleasure is mine {Shiloh&Minwoo}

As Minwoo explained the story behind the unlikely filiation, the angel kept his eyes on the son in question, silently taking in the different physical details of the latter. He seemed genuine, had a rather pure aura about him, which left Shiloh wondering how the two got along.
“Oh, so you’re not just any regular demon next door. You’re a demon with a heart. Interesting. Very… virtuous of you.” The male commented as his gaze darted back on the figure across the table, a playful smirk playing at his lips. “If I didn’t know better I’d say you’re holier than‒” Shiloh suddenly and abruptly interrupted himself, a wicked glint appearing in his eyes, the sparkle that would play in the eyes of a cunning snake, about to mutter a blasphemy. “I shouldn’t say that. Pardon me.” His wings twitched subtly as he feigned a quick cross sign over his heart.
“That makes us two. Welcome to the club! At least be thankful you don’t get to see hoards of them roaming around as if they were your equals.” Needless to say, Shiloh too nurtured less than fond sentiments towards humans, for a good couple of reasons. Although, in his case, exceptions could be made.
“If they use their energy for something other than blindly following ord‒ their nature, I mean, then yeah. Surprisingly, they can be quite naughty. Truth be told, they can be very naughty, but manage to hide it really, really well. Hide, repress, you choose.” Shiloh added, not very much engaged in discussing about his kin, instead his focus going on the slice of lemon that moved lazily in his glass as he swung it slowly left and right.
A twisted grin appeared upon his features at the mention of his wings, “So you like them, huh?” The question was rhetorical, and it was obvious from the tone of Shiloh’s voice that it sounded more like a remark. Although he mocked natures and instincts, the angel too had his own weaknesses, his own impulses that he couldn’t resist, the dark being one of them. He was attracted to such individuals like a magnet, as they offered him a freedom that he so desperately longed for. As if everything was suspended in those moments. As if his true self could be revealed and lived.
With the glass of water still in his hold, the angel got up, walking over to where Minwoo was seated, only to claim the place by the demon’s side. “Nothing outrageous, but that I’m not going to share so easily with a stranger.” Shiloh teased, carefully picking the slice of lemon in between his fingers before bringing it up to his lips, gently sucking the juice out of it. “You can touch them if you want to. The wings.”

“All demons have hearts, some even two or three.” The demon pointed out with a lazy smirk. His eye twitching slightly at almost being called holy and his tail swept across the couch. Licking his pointed teeth as he stared at the other and his gaze held a warning. “You're talking to an archdemon don’t you forget it.” he said in a soft tone but the intonation said enough- he did not like being called holy. Though for this particular archdemon there were more reasons than one, perhaps with time would tell Shiloh as much.

Though the other did not enjoy humans as much either- a good sign. A man who knew what he was worth- or well angel. The angelic one did not seem keen on talking about his kind, there seemed to be some distancing in how he talked about them and oh how it intrigued the demonic man as he sat a little closer to Shiloh. Enjoying the energy he could surely taint.

The other was a sin on his own, something the demon should not touch or engage with but wanted to. Not that he was above tainting the holy but people talked and as an Archdemon to be friends with a cupid was already bad enough. Ah well, it wasn’t like he cared much what others thought anyway. His reputation smeared with the blood of his past and the friends he kept already. An unconventional archdemon for sure- one who cared more about the world above than below. A disappointment to his father and a hero to his mother. What a wonderful outcome of life.

“Hm?” he had been in thought. His self-loathing and loving had turned into a murmur in his head and then the other had offered something so kind and neat. To touch the wings. An invitation to be closer and Minwoo slid to the other. Sitting closer to him as his dark claws touched the wings softly, the pointed nails growing softer as he did so to neatly trimmed nails as if not to harm the delicate feathers.

“They’re soft.” he said as he, with his free hand, picked up the lemon from his own drink and offered it to the other’s lips. The other was still gently touching the soft feathers as it made his fingertips tingle with the holy energy and he enjoyed the way it felt like sparks. A brilliant feeling that brought with it an anxiety as well as a hope and dream of distant memories not his own.

“Do you offer this to every demon who looks your way, angelkin?”

🔴 The pleasure is mine {Shiloh&Minwoo}

Accepting the invitation, Shiloh followed the demon, having to take a second look at Sanori as, for a brief moment, he thought his ears failed him. A son. Well, that was certainly something he wasn’t expecting to hear. Curiously, the two didn’t resemble each other, an observation that made the angel frown slightly as he sat down and had the occasion to take a better look at his companion. The child must be taking after their mother, for sure. Bizarrely enough, he didn’t seem to be much of a demon, either. Then perhaps the other’s genes weren’t as strong as his aura? The thought made Shiloh let out a soft chuckle as his body shuffled in place, one leg being thrown on top of the other as he prompted his elbow against the table, resting his chin in the palm of his hand.
As they received the order, the angel’s gaze shifted towards the lady, a cold chill running down his spine upon seeing the empty orbs, yet he made no remark about it, simply nodding with a cordial smile as to thank her. “That’s quite odd. It’s far from what I envisioned‒ demon children to be like. You look rather young, too. Too young to have a son so old.” Shiloh commented in a lighthearted tone, although the insinuations were clearly there, the angel not shying away from expressing his judgement regarding the other’s supposed promiscuity. “So you have a whole legion here, huh? Can’t daddy find a decent human around here to help the boy out? They know better than us.” He asked playfully as he watched the other pour his drink, “Thank you.”
It didn’t surprise Shiloh that he knew of his nature ‒ aside from most humans, any other creature could tell by simply looking at him, though the piece of information did manage to steal a short laugh from him. That demon was pretty charming, this much he had to admit, even if only to himself, and it was rather fun to see someone so curious about his whereabouts. “Oh, don’t worry about keeping me.” Shiloh began, yet immediately paused for a sip of water, a sly smile forming upon his lips as he purposefully leaned back, only to tease the other a little. He hasn’t been in such situations before, but his last protégée had been, quite often actually, since she was such a beautiful human. So, it wasn’t hard for Shiloh to figure that the demon took a bit of interest in him.
“A demon and a cupid, that’s a duo! I used to have a cupid friend, too. We got along pretty well, they were keeping me up to date with gossip. Who would’ve thought angels too run their mouths a lot? So naughty of them.” Kicking the air with his foot, Shiloh leaned to the side, “Anyway, I’m here to stay. I’ve done something I wasn’t supposed to and‒ you know how they are in Heaven. They are not quite fond of the rebellious. So I took it upon myself to assume that my place is amongst demons and other devils.”

The truth behind Sanori would be shared in a minute since Minwoo had never touched a woman like that and he wasn’t planning to. Though the thoughts of the angel were a secret to him right now as he watched the angel with interest. Much like a cat watches the hamster in a cage. Knowing it can’t pounce yet but thinking about it.

“Hm? Oh he isn’t my son by blood.” Minwoo explained with a small laugh and didn’t comment on his own age. Being young for an archdemon, it was a topic he liked to avoid as much as possible. Especially with his friend Hemlock being so angry about it all the time. It was an annoyance at this point. “I adopted him, he didn’t have anyone when I found him and after I took him in for a little bit just till we would find someone suitable… I got attached and he got too.” Minwoo leaned to the side slightly to observe the young man studying quietly.

“I couldn’t make him go away again after he lost everyone. So I asked if he wanted to stay and he did. So I made it official.” he smiled, his expression genuine and warm as he spoke about his son and then looked up again at the angel.  “Hm, I don’t trust humans much. They’re unreliable and do more harm than good.”

He didn’t like humans, that much was clear. He didn’t like them close to his son at all- one of Sanori’s friends was a human and that was bad enough.

“I do not worry, I only plan to.” he answered smoothly as his tail swept behind him in excitement and his red eyes gleamed a bit. “I have found that angels and cupids can be quite naughty in general, such a pleasant trait to have. Don’t you think?” Though the naughty he was talking about might be an entirely different one than what Shiloh was discussing. His naughty involved bending a cupid over a table after all.

“Oh. A bad angel, don’t go losing your wings they’re pretty.” he said in a soft voice as he watched the other’s wings behind the angel’s back. He loved wings. One of his favourite things about angels were their wings as well as their holy aura that tickled his skin and made it all feel so much better. Knowing you did something you weren’t supposed to do.

“What is your sin, angelkin?” he asked in his silky voice. “I assure you, they’re probably not sins here. We demons never quite were as stingy as the big boy upstairs.”
