Super Maxwell’s 4th Birthday Party!

The only issue with going all out into the jungle theme for Dash’s birthday, was that I felt I had to live up to it for Maxwell’s the next month. I happily took on the challenge and spent the next couple of weeks scouring Amazon and Pinterest for ideas on how to make the best Super Hero party there ever was. Both of our boys are OBSESSED with everything super hero right now. Because we aren’t huge fans of commercial characters, we tried our best to keep the party theme as “Superhero” without naming any actual branded ones. The first thing I did was find this lovely lady on Etsy to hand make capes, masks, belts and arm bands for all of our guests:

Dash’s 2 Year Jungle Birthday Party!

Dash turned 2 right around the time I discovered these amazingly adorable party hats for Schleich animals. Based on this one photo, I basically convinced him to base his entire party around the Jungle theme (he originally wanted an Elmo party but quickly forgot about it once I casually told him that the jungle was where it’s at). First, I laid our foundation:
