I’m making this magical girls standee for cons! Might sell some copies online, we’ll see OwO For now I ordered a test copy to see if the semi-transparent background turns the way I expect. I’ll post photos when it arrives~

Sketch of Chibi Moon and the Sailor Quartet with updated looks!  I think in the anime, the sisters are from the Amazon, so they likely have largely Native American, African, and European ancestry so while they’re biological sisters, they have varied physical features…the hair colors I can’t explain.

~Potential project idea~

I’m taking a seminar on translation this semester. I don’t know Japanese, but I think it would be fun to take literal translations of Sailor Moon songs and make them “fluent” in English (i.e. maintain syllable count and implementing a rhyme scheme). Would anyone be interested in this at all?

Cristina Vee’s translation of Moon Revenge is a BIG INSPO, I would probably focus on Myu songs so I can finally stage a one-woman sailor moon musical of my dreams
