The FCC voted to repeal Net Neutrality, but I would like to reiterate to all of you that now is not the time to panic. Itās time to get angry and active, but not time to panic.
Clickbait sites are painting today as the definitiveĀ āendā of it all, but itās not. This shitās still got to go through the courts.
The FCC has tried to repeal net neutrality twice before, and both times it got repealed by the courts.
The voting publicās support for Net Neutrality is overwhelming. Last I checked, 83% of polled voters nationwide are in support of Net Neutrality staying.
Republican politicians and lawmakers are aware of this overwhelming support and have been voicing their support as well.
Doug Jones victory in Alabama was a wake-up call for Republican politicians, letting them know they are not invincible.Ā

This is not a time for panic, it is a time for anger and for action. Let them know that this is not the end, only the beginning.Ā

The Indiana state legislature is considering an authoritarian bill that would essentially allow police to kill protesters with zero accountability.
Republican senator Jim Tomes introduced Senate Bill 285 in January, though it was given its first committee hearing on Wednesday. The bill authorizes city officials to use āany means necessaryā to break up a group of 10 or more protesters blocking traffic, āeven to the point of costing lives.ā
Keep an eye on this bill. Keep an eye on itās progress and itās refutations and itās inevitable day in court if it gets passed.
This is what I call a canary bill. If it passes both the legislative and judicial branches of the government, it serves as a hallmark on how far gone we are. If it passes the state and is deemed constitutional by the Supreme Court, then we have passed a point from which we cannot return.
Do not forget about this, please.
Indiana residents, contact your representatives and voice your concern over this bill. Itās absolutely unconstitutional. If this bill makes it through even part of the Indiana General Assembly then itāll be a sad day for America. Do your part to stop it in its tracks.
