Spinning back around on the ball of his foot, Grant placed her coffee down next to her on the counter, after adding her regular additives. “Alright, Shower together, you take the bathroom to do your hair and such, I’ll do mine in the bedroom while I get dressed, then we go in together.” Grant grinned and leaned up to steal a quick kiss before focusing on his coffee. 

"You most certainly have more than one thing on your mind, huh?" The girl smirked, running her fingers through her wavy, strawberry blonde hair as she took the coffee mug in her hands, taking a small sip. She hopped down from the counter and sighed. "You wanna know something? There's nothing nicer than waking up to you in the morning. Usually, you're up earlier than I am and out the door before I even wake up but those mornings that you're here.. There's really nothing better. And I'm extremely corny in the morning." She yawned, shaking her head.

"Look Phoebe." He said after listening to everything she had to say, he reached forward grabbing both her hands on his. "I want to help you, and I want you to be happy too. But this job has been my dream ever since I was ten years old, and working at the NASA isn’t shits and giggles, alright? But I’ll find a way to be able to bring work home and I can work while you watch a movie resting your head in my lap, or while we talk. I’ll do my best to be at home as much as I can but I can’t be with you every second of every day." He said honestly. "It’s not healthy, you need to learn to be by yourself. So how about you look for some classes ? Painting, music, singing, whatever you want and I’ll pay them for you. You can get out of the house on the mornings and then we’ll be together in the afternoon."

"You don't get it! You're not listening to me! I sit at home in pure silence. There's no you. There's no one to sit there and talk to. I use to be surrounded by my fathers all the time. We'd spend time together, play monopoly, make homemade pizzas. They'd ask me all about my day, I'd answer with all these crazy stories that didn't happen-- The point is, it got ripped away from me in a split second. I left home, I came here with you and I can't take the silence. I'm scared to be alone, don't you get that? I crave being held, to be told I'll be fine, to be listened to. I'm not begging for attention like an attention seeking whore but I'm breaking into tiny pieces and-- And, I don't know what to do!"

"Well duh, why wouldn't I be feeling alright? Are you feeling alright?"

Grant rubbed his nose right back up against hers. “I like the sound of that..” he whispered as he did. “Honestly I don’t care. I just want to be with you. That’s all that matters to me. I hope you do know that you’ll be spending a lot of the time where ever we are, without clothes.” He whispered into her ear just before he stepped back to pour a cup of coffee for each of them. 

Phoebe smirked, letting out a gentle laugh as she shook her head. "No objections there." She replied, watching him as she stretched, exhaling deeply. "I need a shower. And then I gotta do my hair. And then I gotta do my makeup. Then I gotta decide what I'm gonna wear. I mean, I have to dress to impress at all times." Raising her eyebrow in thought, she tapped her fingernails against the counter.

"You really expect me to believe that, Phoebe? Really? I’m not stupid.”

"Come on, you have to believe me. I wouldn't-- It wasn't like that, alright?"

"No. This weekend is just about us. Shooting has been great, I’ve been working my ass off in burgundy tights.. They can live without me for at least a weekend," Grant replied and resting his forehead against hers gently as his thumbs rubbed her thighs in an affectionate way, rather than a sexual one. "The only question I have is: What are we going to do with our time?" 

"Pff, asking me what we're gonna do with our time? You know exactly what I'll be thinking." She let a small laugh escape her lips, the tip of her nose stroking his gently. "I'm kidding. But the decision is all yours. I mean, we could go away for the weekend, stay in a hotel, do something adventurous or we could just.. Relax." She suggested, shrugging slightly. 

Taking a deep breath he let his muscles relax and his nerves to calm down. They had their ups and downs but fuck, he was crazy for her! There wasn’t a sole thing he wouldn’t do for her. Finally he looked at her with tenderness in his eyes. “Hey” he said cupping her face delicately, he slowly raised her head. “I am sorry, star-girl” he mumbled using the nickname he had for her for their tender moments. “You know how stupid this lion-man can be” he said attempting a word game given that he was called Leonis. “I am sorry” he said kissing her forehead. “Please don’t leave me” he mumbled. “You know the increase in my stupidity when you leave” he joked again and kissed her cheek. “Please?” he asked looking into her eyes.

Phoebe let a gentle smile form on her lips, listening to his words carefully. She pressed her lips together, letting out a deep breath as she just slowly nodded. She didn't reply on the same subject, she just nodded and whispered. "Can you just take me straight home?" His jokes made her smile and the kiss upon her cheek made her blush but her eyes were just sad. She was broken inside, she really was.
