35 years is a long time...

' Dont wanna, comfy. ' Neah whined softly, wanting to snuggle deeper into Allen's embrace, but the urge to sleep was definitely taking priority over getting some snuggles from Allen. Sighing reluctantly, he stood upright abruptly, losing his balance almost immediately and nearly falling right back down. He managed to find his balance once more, however, had no motive or energy what so ever to move from where he stood.

' Allen, cary meh. '

"It'd be comfier on a couch," Allen griped, but despite his complaints he didn't make any attempt to move until Neah stood. Even then he rose a little reluctantly.

"Carry you? Who am I supposed to be, your mother? Ah, hell... here, get on my back."

Trying his best not to show how much he was sweating it to Allen from his facial expressions, he forced a small smile to stretch across his face, humming a single note of his favorite melody he had created, which also happened to be Timcanpy's favorite. The tiny golem zoomed in from one of the doors and onto Neah's head, wagging his tail contently as he rested on top of Neah.

' You wanna walk it or take the trolley? I don't know where it is so I can't use the Ark, can only go places I know. '

Wow, he was really following through. Allen beamed right back and tapped the golem's side in greeting.

"Hm, how about we walk? A bit more romantic than a trolley ride, right?" Also saving money. Allen was eager for good food but he knew he'd be feeling guilty later on for the bill. May as well make it a little easier on his poor husband. "Besides, I don't count on Tim behaving that well. Shall we?"

Damn, this asshole was definitely trying to make him squirm and forget his end of the deal, but there was no way in hell that he was going to back out, challenge fucking accepted.

' Sounds great! I haven't had steak in ages, jesus. I hope Timcanpy can behave himself this time, last time he tried to eat one of the waiter's hair….. '

Oh, he was going through with it? Had Neah even realized that was a joke? Oh well, Allen wasn't about to correct him- his own wallet probably wouldn't be able to cover such an outing, but weren't the Campbells fairly wealthy?

"It's a date, then. So long as Timcanpy doesn't eat someone's toupee we shouldn't get kicked out. I'm sure you have enough money to cover the meal?"

' Iam sobeer. ' He grumbled sleepily, eyes drooping dangerously low, and his breathing beginning to slow down as he relaxed, the alcohol in his system beginning to force him to shut down.

' Stay. Dun't leabe meh. '

"You aren't sober in the least," Allen chuckled. "I mean, look at you! You're going to pass out any minute now, aren't you?" Hopefully those Noah abilities would kick in enough to help him recover without too much trouble, though a massive hangover in the morning might be enough to deter him in the future... Allen leaned in a little closer and leaned his head against Neah's, feeling a rush of sentimentality that made him want to cringe in embarrassment. "Don't worry, I'm not leaving."

He shuffled a little, uncomfortable with breaking the moment, but it was a cold floor. "How about we get off the floor, though? If you're going to sleep, do it on a bed or a couch..."

' Deal! ' Thats not what his wallet or bank account is saying. Oh well, it was fine in the end, so long as Allen was back to being his wifey.

' You wanna go know or later cause I kinda wanna finish some things with Timcanpy real quick. '

"Wonderful! How about that fancy new place downtown, the one with the steak everyone's raving about?" Said restaurant had astronomical prices and he wasn't actually considering it, but it would be fun to see Neah squirm...  "Timcanpy can come along! That golem's a little glutton, he'd probably enjoy it."

Humming quietly, Neah couldn’t help but nuzzle his face against Allen’s shoulder, a soft hiccup shaking him and causing him to giggle with glee at Allen’s embarrassment. What an honest response.

' Mm, imnot. Want som mor? ' He asked teasingly, one hand playing with Allen's soft hair and the other lazily hanging at his side. 

Allen snickered at the noise. He put his hand on Neah's head again, tugging lightly on his hair to pull him a little further back. He pondered a moment before deciding, hell, Neah probably wasn't going to be remembering any of this in the morning.

"Maybe I do," he lilted. "But you'll have better luck when you're sober."

' Anything! Even if its sexually demeaning!!! ’ Especially if its that. ’ I’ll cook for you everyday!! Take you out to eat at your favorite restaurant! ‘

"Tell you what, let's hold off on the first and you can take me out to eat. I get to order anything I want off the menu, and you get to pay for it all."

The grin lasted a moment before faltering as a dull, rubbing sensation began to register, but Neah didn’t bother to move away from Allen. 

' Mm, but you actully leiked et, din't u? '

Sighing contently, he pushed his arms around Allen and ignored any protest against settling against Allen’s chest. It was nice, he hadn’t been held in a long while.

Obviously the noogie had been useless. Allen let out a loud, long-suffering sigh and ruffled Neah's hair. After some hesitation, he let his arms fall in a loose embrace.

"Yeah, so what?" he grumbled. "You're the one who started it. Don't pin anything on me."

' I'm sorry Allen! Seriously, I'll never say anything like that again, what can I do for you to forgive me?! '

"Hm, I don't know... What are you willing to do?"

Shivering slightly, he leaned against Allen, a smirk crawling up his face as he suddenly turned his head and pecked Allen on the lips.

' Gotcha! can't belibe you fell for dat. ' He said with a slightly goofy grin, not taking the situation serious for a moment.

Allen jolted backward in surprise. It took a moment for the action to register, but once it did he scowled. He caught Neah in a headlock and ground his knuckles into the man's scalp.

"I can't believe I was actually worried about you!" he hissed.

' No, Allen please!!! That wasn't what I meant, please take me back!!! '

"No. I can't trust you anymore. It's over."

Allen eyed him for a while before sighing and sitting down beside him. He threw an arm around the other's shoulders and glared at the clock on the far wall. "I've been trying to take care of you this whole time. You're welcome, by the way. Nice to know my time and effort has been noticed."

' No, thats not what I meant! I just never thought you were into guys! '

"I know your true feelings now! Whatever chance you had is gone!"

' Mnot hot, fukig you r u son ofva gun. DUn, remeber, alotta shots tho, like, maybe twenty, maybe mor. '

He can’t even see straight. He’s not going to remember a damn thing in the morning. 

"Of course you are, haven't you looked in a mirror lately?" he snapped. "Wait... twenty? How quickly? Uuurgh, I knew they were going to be a bad influence! No more drinking parties!"

And of course the other two would be out for a good while, so he was stuck babysitting a drunken Neah on his own.

"Oh, so I'm second choice now? I see how it is."

' Dan straite. An I dun care, you're fukin hot. Hotter than Croos's stupid 'air. ' 

Noahs can’t get drunk. At least, thats what Neah believed before downing twenty shots in under an hour. Fuck the rules.

"Well." Allen could think of nothing else to do than unfold and fold his arms again. He shuffled awkwardly. "Well. Of course I'm hot. I suppose... same to you? Dear god, what did you drink?"
