A sheer blush warmed Rumil's cheeks as he recalled the day of their meeting in Imladris. He was in company of Haldir, business related as always.. "You were just a small Ellon, and you were so adamant that we would wed one day."

Ok, but can we talk about how Manwe was not only the king of all eagles and peacocks and other lofty mofos, but also of all the cute little round fat birbs?

I’m kind of unhappy with this one, spent an inordinate amount of time rendering the face but couldn’t really quite capture it:/ Also couldn’t make up my mind as to whether I want Maedhros with short hair or Maedhros with long hair so why not both > <

Maedhros after Thangarodrim and in Himring, suffering from bouts of nightmare of his stay with Melkor. Yes I like angsty elves.

Background scenery is of a overhead shot of Mt Cook in NZ, I’ve been there before and while I know Tolkien meant for places in Europe to be a setting for Middle earth, the rather isolating feel of the place and the sheer landscape seem like a great setting for Himring. 

And because I spent so much time on the face here’s a close up. And I’m quite happy with the hand so here’s one of that too:P
